No problem man! It still takes forever! Still trying to come up with an even better flow.
Is there any way to copy all overlays in one clip as a template to copy and paste into the next clip? My clip has gaps in the GPX data...
my Virb cannot export ! what version of Virb were you on ?
Thanks for the tutorial. I have a FitBit and the data is exported as .tcx , data is from indoorcycling , I would like the data to create overlay for BPM and Calories. I would need to convert to FIT files since GPX does not provides Calories data. Any recommendation for TCX > FIT converter ? Thanks!
Not sure on conversion as the calorie data wouldn't be in that file. I'd say look around on indoorcycling and see if you can export it as .fit
Hello, nice video. When I tried to upload .fit file to VIRB, it says "Failed to read file" any idea why could that be happening?
Can we use two gpx files? My galaxy active 2 will give hearth measure and the garmin will generate speed, cadence, etc.
Not that I am aware of. I usually just use the .fit file. If you upload to garmin connect there is a way to export the .fit file.
Could you use this software to overlay data on a baseball pitching video? So the data has to be static for a duration of 8 seconds as the video plays. Thanks!
Yep. You definitely can use it for any footage you would like. You just need the .fit file for the data.

for example: i have 1000 gopro photos that showing my trips that taken continously every 5 seconds. then i want to make them into a video that contain the data overlay such as speed, tracking, coordinates etc. is it possible? thank you

i use my virb edit bit i donno how to change the data from MpH to KpH ..my overlay outcome was MpH
Unfortunately you can only use one or the other. You have to change the settings in virb edit to metric
Garmin Virb Edit does not recognize my GPX file, any suggestions why? I'm using OSX Catalina, GPX file recorded on an iphone with REVER app and video from a DJI osmo action.
Try to use the .fit file if you can.
garmin stopped supporting virb so the map screen no longer displays
Thanks for the vid but it looks like I’ll need to stay away from IMovie. It takes 8+ hours to export an hour long video
when exporting it says that there is a mistake... why?
I’m not sure I would really need to be there to help debug. Make sure you are exporting to the right location and file type and you have enough space

once I overlay a cycling video it wont upload to youtube
Make sure you have to correct file format. Not sure what the problem is without seeing it.
Splitting of videos is due design flow and restrictions on SD card
