DiDonato is artist and crafts(man), so richly intuitive and in her own words, authentic. She said Sarastro’s aria can melt hearts. It melted mine.

The words that came out of her about classical singing should be carved in stone for singers to live by.

Wow, speechless, i love this capacity to make every singer connect to sincerity, be, that is a gift. Thanks Joyce for being so direct and so subtle and to the point.

I love the humanity from the singer and how the fact to look at this lady helps him to share with simplicity

    Biggest lessons:
Do the work. Do the work. Do the work.
Take the right actions and let go of the results.
People come to the theater to connect, not to escape.

23:52 "the voice of enlightenment" I believe that this opera IS about enlightenment and came out of the Age of Enlightenment, so her comment is very fitting.

The bass was a little rude. When Joyce DiDonato carried the chair, he should have acted like a gentleman. He was supposed to get the chair for her.
