I'm 13 years old and I stay so sad when I think that the 70's/80's never go back... Everything was better, the music, the culture, and the people too. Sometimes I cry watching videos of Sweet and other bands that I love. I will never go for a concert by The Beatles, Ramones, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd... and this make me really sad. I was born at the wrong time!
Старанно. Незачем омрачаться. В свое время парни за 10 лет включили свои произведения в историю музыки, благодаря таланту, мелодии и текстам. И через 50 лет это актуально, ведь это же славно и необходимо !

This song is a masterpiece from the beginning to the end. Thank you so much Andy, Brian, Steve and Mick for all the good music and for being in my life. 💫
No song ever sounded quite like this. This is classy classic rock. Will love this tune till the day I die. The entire album "Level Headed" is legendary. Every track is imbedded in my soul. It's like a time machine to me. It will always be 1978.
This long version is the absolute best! Reminds me of my childhood and I always jammed out to this! My brother played this all the time when he was a teen in the '70's!!
This is, without a doubt, the best pop song ever recorded: exceptionally great lyrics, incredibly great riffs, progressive interlude and heavy metal...these guys were so far ahead of the time, it's incredible! Way way before these were genres! WTF; this is the best pop song ever!
@@peterburry3553 I get what he means though. It was the time of Glam Rock, they played the part but not their true selves. Much like bands like Slade, a very popular band that were not taken seriously after the era ended. They were both much better than they are given credit for.
great to hear someone of todays generation having a love for a great period in music, youtubing allows you to see and live this time so don't get sad, I'd love to be 13 again keep enjoying we all pass on some time. CHEERS
THIS SONG IS one of the best songs with a hook that grabs you deep down inside. I did not think too muchy about it till I walked into the Providence Civic Center when Sweet was in the middle of this song and they had the whole audience by the tips of their fingers. Deep Purple followed them and could not match them. That was huge. Because Deep Purple can make most bands sound like there music is coming through a transister radio. I'm a big Purple fan and Sweet showed them the way at this partiicular show. Sweet rocked the arena this night.
That’s cool cause I loved both bands but Sweet was my first. As innocent as that sounds you still would have thought Deep Purple would have blown them away just because they were bigger. But like Lynyrd Skynyrd with The Who or The Stones it’s who really puts their all into a show.
What a great song. I love the extended version with the breakdown in the middle. Rest in Peace Brian, Mick, and Steve. Long live Andy and the music of Sweet.
I remember my father playing this at home. This song sounds similar to something ELO would create but yet different. It is truly an incredible composition with great, yet simple lyrics, that hit home.
I thought i was the only one that believed this was ELO…nice to know there’s another crazy lunatic out there…😂 i’m in good company…i wish there was a time machine, so i can go back to the ‘70’s and stay there…
These guys were way ahead of the curve. Hate that they encountered so much difficulty and division late in their run, especially Brian. What a talented, mysterious, cool, and unique group.
Sweet was quiet for a few years with not many hits from years before. It came out in 79 and sounded totally different but really good. Such a shame that most of the original band members are no longer with us.
Andy Scott wrote a song that stands the test of time. Such an epic song!!Sad that it was really a farewell song. They still sounded and looked great. I love that classical guitar part.
