Dude, I’m so happy to see Squad Battle sticking around permanently! I absolutely loved it, but they’re always this inkling of disappointment knowing it was gonna go away at some point, so I’m stoked to find out I was wrong about that! Plus, I didn’t know the Personal AI toggle was even in the works, but I’m so glad to see it added. I wanted that from the start.
I’m glad it’s staying. I’m overseas and the halo servers/internet suckss for gaming out here so I’ve been dying to get home to play those maps!

@@julian5663 A year and a half, 1 year at most because I'm not going to leave out the winter update and season 3 like some people, those were good as well. let's not play it took 2 to 3 years game. Infinite was on par with other halos' around session 3 minus infection.

I still hope at some point assassinations are added to the game in some way, maybe jt could be something only in campaign or perhaps for certain game modes. Those were awesome.
I don't remember the reasoning but iirc they said it's impossible to implement in the Infinite engine. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me considering it's just a modified version of the halo 5 engine, which has assassinations ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ik. I really want assassinations. They were so sick to do in halo 5, and made some really funny memories. Plus, if 343 want to make money, I would actually spend money for a sick assassination. Plus, just make it optional to turn it off and boom, everyone is happy.

Season 4's been incredible! Yeah, yeah, I know, "Infinite should have launched in this state to begin with," and I agree it should have, but it finally is in this state and it's gotten dangerously close to becoming my favorite multiplayer in the series. I'm actually starting to prefer playing Infinite over MCC, and I don't say that lightly.
A lot of games can get me tilted (Halo included), but it takes something truly special to get the opposite kind of reaction out of me, which is laughing in pure euphoria while I'm playing. Halo Infinite's Squad Battles get that kind of reaction out of me. Genuinely, I love Halo Infinite. I am so happy 343 and Microsoft never gave up on it. I only hope more people give it another chance, because they are seriously missing out if they don't.

I haven't played halo Infinite in well over a year and had pretty much had given up on it. But now it is actually fun to play with all the modes and maps that they added. I really do hope they show the campaign some love in the near future.
This update is great. Can't wait to see the next events that come along, because Cyber Showdown II and Tenrai II were great.

Very happy with Halo Infinite right now
it was in fact, very hot, also major 343 W, but right now that seems to be a common thing, with the leadership changes and all, really happy that we are getting the full halo experience, and even if you are angry it took so long to get here, at least its here now, props to 343 for getting their shit together, and heres to the hope that season 5 bangs it out of the park.

Mint I think sometimes you VASTLY overestimate our skills. Also suggesting we can get 2000 points per match to up our progression rank quickly as another example.
That said it's been a while since I haven't been able to finish the challenges on the same Tuesday they started, starting at 7 or 8pm. And this week does have easier than usual challenges (though I had a few non consecutive "complete matches" challenges that dragged things out).

It's crazy how much movable death cams help make it feel like halo and keep you engaged in the action.
Without the moveable death cam I would quickly go on my phone or take a blinker. Now I pay attention to what's going on and plan my move on next spawn
The issue with the death cam is you are facing your teammates visor, not looking where they are aiming. I would like to see this change

I'd love to enjoy halo infinite, but all my multiplayer games have 250+ms ping. Making the games unplayable. Literally every other game I play online, my ping is 40. Don't understand why it only lags for halo

I’m really proud of 343 for getting some positive feedback for their updates, ever since 343 added squad battle all halo infinite updates are peak, all we need now is mods for MCC on Xbox and 343 could be as good as bungie back when they were in control of the franchise
What I do is jump then slide and sometimes I’m able to do basically what I like to call a super slide or power slide. And I get a little far. But also the new Battle Rifle model is nice.

This game hit its stride right when it needed to for me imo. With other games launching dead on arrival or dying out slowly (like destiny), I’m so happy with where this game is
It may have taken nearly 2 years but it's really starting to feel like a full game
Glad lots are happy with the update, however no campaign or story based information, therefore not good enough for me. I don't even need something announced, but even if all 343 says is, "hey, we aren't doing story right now but we plan to do it in the near future," I'd probably be temporarily mollified.
Hate to be the "shoulda been this way at launch guy", so I won't be. It's the state of the industry, for various reasons, mostly Fortnite and Wall Street with battle passes and shipping unfinished games. All in all, I am ecstatic about the state of the game. I will definitely be buying more battle passes and cosmetics to support 343. I'm glad the management changes happened as well. Thank you 343. Please keep it going.

Until 343 finishes adding things to the game that should have been there at launch over two years ago and actually starts adding significant, meaningful, community driven content, for both MP AND campaign, I'm not touching Halo in any respect, and even then I'll most likely only consider it. They have screwed the pooch on such a royally catastrophic level these last few years, it'll take another studio being appointed as the steward of the franchise to actually get me to come back to the franchise full time.

The netcode/dsync issues are STILL awful. This game is not competitive, it's gambling. Will shots hit, will the melee hit, will i have packet loss errors the entire game, will the game team me with npcs, etc.....
First time looking at ANYTHING about this game in MONTHS. Ill check back next year see where its at. Fuck 343.
Although infinite has some glaring issues we wanted fix since launch (cross core, Desync still there…), infinite is doing MUCH better now which I like
I’m legitimately the most excited about the ai voice being able to be turned off the only voice I should be hearing during gameplay should be the wonderful voice of Jeff Steizer
I can't wait to get a freesync monitor so I can enjoy this game again! When I switched to PC I was bummed to find that the in game vsync adds so much input lag that the game feels unplayable.

I gotta say - I’m really proud of this community, and ppl like you Remi, for sticking with this title and not giving up on this dope franchise we love so much. It’s been rough and i remember when it looked really bad for Infinite and possibly all of the Halo franchise. But the community showed it really cares, was patient for changes to come, and kept (respectfully) demanding those changes be made. If anything, Halo Infinite may be a perfect example of what a player-developer game ecosystem can look like, where creativity and improvement are prioritized, and everyone has a better experience playing a game that we all knew at its core had amazing mechanics and potential. So congrats, let’s keep going, and thank you Mint, all the mods, the community, and the people at 343 committed to making another dope Halo title. Ya love to see it.

One change I want them to make and I hope you promote this suggestion is that when you block a person there is still the possibility of being paired with that person again in multiplayer matches. They should fix this so that when you block someone, they will not be paired with you again.

Dredge looks like a reimagining of Countdown done right, would love to see more maps like this added down the line, I always wondered what a version of sword base would be like in Halo Infinite.
So good to see an update focusing on player feed back to this degree, most updates always have their caveats but everything here is great, hopefully it's a sign of things to come.
Played this game last night and I had lag in every game made it impossible to play.
Any word on when Bot Bootcamp is coming back? Really missing having a mode for players to go into and just have chill easy games.

Idk if others have this issue, but for all of 2023 so far, every other game my ai is automatically changed to butlr, its really annoying cause i like to listen to circ talking. But with the new feature to turn off ai, i might just do that
Yeah, my buddy & I are consistently running into this issue. While I actually prefer Butler most of the time, my friend does not. I feel like they said they've addressed this in a previous update & if so, it definitely did not work.

I actually don't understand how this is the game where we're fighting THE brute faction and we only have one of the original brute weapons the mauler but it's still changed into a pistol and isn't super viable anymore due to the nerf

Man i just wish i could customize my armor colours and make my old emblem. Squad battle is the only mode i play now cause its just Halo 3 maps. The rest of the maps are just not fun to play on
