  • In this episode of the AutoNation Test Drive we take a look at the newest from Lexus: The RC350. Featuring a 3.5 liter V6 with 306-hp and 277 lbs-ft of torque, this is a sporty little coupe that’s looking to challenge rivals from BMW and Audi. The models we’re testing includes the F-Sport Package, in addition to navigation and special red paint ("Infrared”) and a variable-rate steering rack. As equipped, this test unit is listed at $54,815 including destination.

    It's the best looking car Lexus has put out aside from the LFA.

    I bought a 15, awd fsport in Oct. Same color, love it, all black interior. Winter here, and I'm impressed with its awd capability. I don't take it out as much because I'm more worried about someone else smacking into it. But I know if caught in snows the car is fine.
    I've only been getting 22 mpg combined. But that could also be winter blend gas, and colder temps. So we'll have to see come summer.
    The ride is great in all modes. You can tell the difference between eco and sport+. Very comfortable although the fsport seats are just a tad narrow. And I'm not a huge guy. 6 1, 210. I thought the base rc350 seats were just more comfortable. The car is not extremely fast, mainly due to its weight. But get on it in sport, it has that throaty roar, and it boogies out. This car is a true gt. Not like a Porsche with a stiff ride but a good ride with decent plus performance.
    Love the styling and looks. The wheels make the car. The grille when you see it integrated with the car is beautiful because it's lower in profile than it looks. I get comments all the time of how beautiful the car is. Just the other day an Infinity coupe driver couldn't help himself to keep looking at this one. :)

      Mark Daniels thanks for your feedback! I am researching these, pre-owned, and wondering how it would do in the snow? I’m coming from an Audi A4 which was great in the snow.

    I noticed on your screen it was getting 12.5 mpg is this car bad on gas my next car is gonna be a coupe it’s between 2015 Audi S5 or this car I still haven’t decided

      @odugs 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      cease19811 it’s not very good on gas but it’s not bad either. I have the RC 300 F Sport. It’s supposed to average 24 MPG (city and highway), 21 city and 30 highway. Hitting those numbers depends on your driving style really.
      They are very pretty cars but not very fast overall (in case you are looking for speed). But in Sport+, the steering wheel stiffens and you get an overall tighter control feel. Once it gets going, it runs. To help initial acceleration, I enter manual shift mode.

      Also suspension is adaptable, and in recent years it adds cooled and heated seats in this package.

    Nice car. The review is high on hyperbole. A more objective review is seriously lacking for this car. Could someone please give us a pro/con review? Please.

    wonder how much lexus paid him to say basically nothing bad about this car like its outdated system slow performance and lack of modern features.

    • @user59371
      @user59371 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well seeing as this video is 7 years old the tech wasn’t that bad yet, and a lot of “modern” features weren’t even out. Moron.

      The video is 7yrs old idiot
      In 2015 this would of been a super competitive coupe
      To this day still looks modern and brand new
