Yes!! I get comments more often than I’d expect to “just throw it out and buy a new one” when I’m refilling a marker I’ve run out of ink on… it always surprises me because why would you throw it away if you can refill!? Better for the environment and budget 🙌

A refill can refill a regular sized marker around 7 times if I’m remembering correctly… so instead of throwing out the entire marker itself 7 times over when it’s empty, you will have thrown out 1 of the refills/plastic wraps instead when that’s empty. Yes, it’s still waste, but at least right now, it’s the better alternative than buying brand new markers each time. ❤

Or if you’re looking to get a set of prefilled wide markers, I highly recommend the Ohuhu Extra Wide alcohol markers… I also buy those on Amazon too and they have multiple color schemes available in packs of 6, so it’s a great option too! Not a dumb question at all!! Sorry I’m just seeing it! They don’t make prefilled Copic Wide markers anymore, so when you want one, you have to buy an empty wide marker and add the ink color you want to it! Then you can keep refilling them 💕

You can also remove the nib and fill them which is how I always do my smaller markers! I just started doing the wide ones this way because the Copic website instructed filling them through that little notch at the top… the extra flourishes aren’t necessary but I really enjoy them and find it relaxing to do haha 😂 And as for how much to use, a refill can refill an empty wide marker 3 times so when I’m making one I just try and put in about 1/3 of the ink!

copic markers are refillable, so if you run out, you don't have to buy a new marker, just find the color and refill it.
