What song was YOUR villain era anthem? Let us know below, and be sure to also check out our video of the Top 20 Most Epic Movie Villain Songs Ever - th-cam.com/video/K40pBL6god4/w-d-xo.html
There are two of these for me for me - "Ha, Ha, You're Dead", by Green Day and "Gives You Hell" by All-American Rejects. Personally, when friendships turn toxic, these are both songs to describe how you feel.
All these songs are total bangers, and have taken up permanent residence in my head. Especially "Before He Cheats", Don't Start Now", and "Another One Bites The Dust".
My Honorable Mentions: • Heathens by Twenty One Pilots • Bad Guy by Billie Eilish • Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood • Bad Blood by Taylor Swift • Bad by Michael Jackson
My personal picks are “Natural” by Imagine Dragons, and “Emperor’s New Clothes” by Panic! At The Disco. Both songs have a dark and menacing vibe to them that I frankly can’t get enough of.
I've never really had a villain era, but if I ever do, it'll definitely be I Did Something Bad. Song is such a banger that I've wanted my own villain era since 2017.
My personal villain songs: Bad Guy - Billie Eilish Horns - Bryce Fox Believer - Imagine Dragons Unstoppable - Sia Centuries - Fall Out Boy Roar - Katy Perry Play With Fire - Sam Tinnesz and Yacht Money Victorious - The Score Natural - Imagine Dragons I’m a Wanted Man - Royal Deluxe Legends Are Made - Sam Tinnesz Revolution - The Score Rise - Katy Perry Thunder - Imagine Dragons I Wanna Be Your Slave - Måneskin Born Ready - Zayde Wølf Enemy - Imagine Dragons Can’t Hold Us - Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Whatever It Takes - Imagine Dragons Who I Am - The Score Unstoppable - The Score Radioactive - Imagine Dragons Mammamia - Måneskin One Woman Army - Porcelain Black Oh No! - Marina & The Diamonds Glitter & Gold - Barns Courtney Stronger - Kelly Clarkson Therefore I Am - Billie Eilish Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes Leading The Pack - Sam Tinnesz Bones - Imagine Dragons Dangerous Woman - Ariana Grande Woman Like Me - Little Mix and Nicki Minaj Supermodel - Måneskin Sweet But Psycho - Ava Max Mad Hatter - Melanie Martinez Kings And Queens - Ava Max Toxic - Britney Spears Born For This - The Score Power - Little Mix Stronger - The Score You Should See Me In A Crown - Billie Eilish Monster - Skillet Don’t Blame Me - Taylor Swift Born For This - Royal Deluxe It’s My Life - Bon Jovi Dark Horse - Katy Perry Sorry Not Sorry - Demi Lovato Worth It - Fifth Harmony Dark Side - Neoni E.T. - Katy Perry Bad Bitch - Bebe Rexha and Ty Dolla $ign Heathens - Twenty One Pilots Another One Bites The Dust - Queen Please appreciate the effort ahahaha
For my somewhat villanous era I listend to Metallica, Nirvana, Iron Maiden, and others. I do still listen to them now along with other bands including Cage the Elephant and Avenged Sevenfold.
My villain themed songs 1. Cannibal by Kesha 2. Sweet but Psycho by Ava Max 3. Boyfriend Dove Cameron 4. Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga 5. Roman’s Revenge by Nicki Minaj
Blu Cantrell's "Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops!)" was a fun one back in 2001. More recently, there's "Vicious" by Halestorm. THAT is a catchy (but very angry) song. Also I was ticked when everyone made fun of Miley for "Can't Be Tamed." That song is an edgy bop that has aged well. So has Miley!
My villain phase music consists of "Devour" and "Cut The Cord" by Shinedown, "Hail To The King" by Avenged Sevenfold, and the final boss from New Super Mario Bros Wii.
For me, the only one on this list, I can really see work with a villain, is "You Should See Me In A Crown" by Billie Eillish (it is also the only song that I've seen used in a movie for a (young and upcoming) villainess, with "The School for Good & Evil"). The rest sounds just like people being scorned and taking petty revenge for it, more than giving off vibes of "Let's raise some hell, 'cause I'm the villain." For villains I would go for darker material, heavier sound, more aggressive lyrics/imagery.
This one's a bit more recent, but 'Feeling Good' by Michael Bublé sounds so much like a jazzy disney villain song. It's so amazing and the goosebumps I got when the music hit were insane!
Here are the songs I listened to during my own villain phase: Bad, Bad Leroy Brown, You're No Good, Shame, Shame, Shame, and both versions of the Star Wars Theme.
I think for my villain era playlist would be: Horns - bryce fox Explode - the hot damns My time and Bad - Royal deluxe No Good - kaleo Punchbag - Yonaka Fire - Barns Courtney Watch me - the phantoms The Phoenix - Fall out boy I Like Trouble - Jailbreakers Ltd Throne - Bring me the horizon Trouble coming - Royal Blood Love bite - Halestorm Jungle - X Ambassador n common Faint - Linkin Park Welcome to the fire - Willyecho Wicked ones - Dorothy Pushover - Manafest and the list goes on but there's alot of good songs that have the evil flare to it.
Melanie Martinez, Panic! At The Disco, Halsey, Hit And Run By LOLO, My Chemical Romance, and Set It Off all populated my playlist during my brief Villain era, and comes back every now and then. Also, because I know someone’s going to do it; “Another One Bites The Dust by Queen” *JoJo fans have entered the chat*
I listened to "What the Hell?" And "Hot" by Avril Lavigne When I was nine "Before he cheats was everywhere at my summer day camp. I was not that rebellious even as a teenager but there was something about those songs that made me feel like a different person.
Love Before He Cheats, but Two Black Cadillac's definitely takes it to another level and should have taken that spot or be higher on the list with Before He Cheats being a honorable mention.
I just chuckle at how a lot of people say they're going through their villain phase but it's literally just them learning to say no. Which I mean, don't get me wrong that can be hard to do but it's not villainous to say no or maintain boundaries. It really should just be the norm.
Was "Dark Horse" REALLY about loving a villain? A "dark horse" is someone who seems to be least likely to succeed, but who defeats the odds against them. It has nothing to do with villainy. Btw, "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark" by Fallout Boy should have been high on this list.
My picks from that phase, are actually "Misery Business" by Paramore, and the vocaloid song "↑Game of Life↓". If that isn't a villainous song, I don't know what is!
I am surprised Goodbye Earl by the Chicks is not on here. I also have a real oldie, Silent Darkness(Smothered Life) by Wrathchild America is a great one. The protagonist digs himself out of his grave after he is murdered and goes out for revenge, haunting those who killed him.
For me it'd be "Look What You Made Me Do" by T-Swift Secret by The Pierces And Denmark+ Winter's version Queen Of Mean And "Happy Birthday" Descendants 3 the eerie scores of Carl Orff's "O Fortuna" to The Ride Of The Valkyries if I wanted something more instrumental or Any Christmas carol If I want to be more torturous (Sibling)
Look what you made me do is the best music video I’ve ever seen. Taylor Swift made it so meaningful with all those call outs to her real life situations. I love her!
My villain era songs would be Stronger, Fighter, and Survivor, because the best revenge is showing that you've moved on and are living your best life after people have tried to break you down and hurt you
Do a part 2! Hit Em Up by Blu Cantrell Good 4U by Olivia Rodrigo Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne Bang Bang Bang by Selena Gomez Queen of Mean by Sarah Jeffrey Does He Love You by Reba Mcentire Obsessed by Mariah Carey Gunpowder And Lead by Miranda Lambert Bad Blood by Taylort Swift Not Ready to Make Nice by The Dixie Chicks Womanizer by Britney Spears Bad Reputation by Joan Jett Rolling In the Deep by Adele Lists can go on lol I just gave ya a full video list plus runner ups 😂
4:03 The fact is: she’s not really anymore happy than her haters are. She would like to give you that impression, but it’s not so. Life is full of pain and sorrow, no matter who you are, where you currently are, or where you are going. But here’s why the haters are more wrong than Demi could ever be: she doesn’t revel in causing their pain quite like they revel in causing hers. That’s where their shame lies.
I think we didn't have the same "villain" phase 😂 I listened to pretty brutal metal songs, such as Refuse Resist by Sepultura or People = Shit by Slipknot But I never stopped listen to the songs of this era it's a big part of my personal musical universe 😁
Carrie Underwood's song's only flaw is she carves her name into his seats. Stupid. That's evidence. I adore the song, but I always scold her for not wearing gloves. Rhianna's song Bitch Better Have My Money was done during the SuperBowl in 2023 - and because regular tv, it was censored. However, Deaf performer Justina Miles did NOT censor her ASL and used the sign for bitch right out there. It was awesome. I'm really surprised you didn't include The Chicks Goodbye Earl. I just love it.
Personally I think “You’re Gonna Go Far Kid” by the Offspring and “Play With Fire” by Sam Tinnez and YACHT MONEY should’ve been on here. Both have sinister lyrics, catchy tunes and are perfect for any villain
If I were to have a "villain era" the only song I'd have from this list would be Queen because it's the only one worth having on it. Never even listened to the others & from the bits on the list I don't want to.
Ngl the song on the lists are just cool I don’t feel like a villian but cool I love look what you made me do I’m a Swiftie so of course I love it when Taylor Swift songs end up on the list love you Taylor ❤

There are two of these for me for me - "Ha, Ha, You're Dead", by Green Day and "Gives You Hell" by All-American Rejects. Personally, when friendships turn toxic, these are both songs to describe how you feel.
Perfect Nothing by Ghost And Pals
I think "look what you made me do" should be number one. From the beat, production, mv, it just screams VILLAIN
right now, it screams "Ukraine's anthem"
Agreed (👍)!
Screams another word. Rhymes with "witch".
It says Songs, not videos
@@enriqueutia5213 That's a song if you want to call it that, more of an extended whine, sung in a video. And your point would be?
All these songs are total bangers, and have taken up permanent residence in my head. Especially "Before He Cheats", Don't Start Now", and "Another One Bites The Dust".
My Honorable Mentions:
• Heathens by Twenty One Pilots
• Bad Guy by Billie Eilish
• Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood
• Bad Blood by Taylor Swift
• Bad by Michael Jackson
I think songs like Black Widow, What The Hell, Telephone and Want U Back fits the category of songs during your villain era
But the chad of the villain era is folk metal band Finntroll
@@nestorsifuentesaguirre2722 This is an underrated comment.
@@venuslove-i1v You might not understand swedish tho. Finntroll's lyrical material is in swedish
@@nestorsifuentesaguirre2722 I listen to music from a lot of different languages.

Great taste 💯
Personal favorite, F*** Apologies by Jojo. Seriously underrated vocals and a great song
Jojo is incredible!
*My Villianess Song Was 👀 "You Oughta Know" and "Fighter"* 😁👊🏽
And Right Through You if we are doing Alanis Morissette
I was singing you oughta know as I watched this. These were mostly more current, or it surely would have been on here.
@@tjwash2 ...❤
*I Agree 👍🏽 Jagged Little Pill CD 💿 Was Everything! Liquid Gold! 💎 And Christina Aguilera - Fighter 👏🏽 Was The Songs!* 💃🏽✨
Good 4 U by Olivia Rodrigo.....it samples Misery Business and Hayley Williams and Josh Farro are credited as songwriters on that song
I never knew what Dark Horse was about until now lol
I highly recommended to listen to that song. It was a massive song from 2014 era.
Madonna’s “Human Nature” and Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed” should have been on this list.
Hit 'em up style!!
this song was my favorite on just dance 4! i completely forgot about it until right now thank you for this reminder!!
Cherry Bomb, Hit em up style and Master of puppets. Really into Bella Poarch Living Hell and Dolls lately.
I completely forgot about you should see me in a crown, but i completely agree
This channel's title choices alone made me go "what the fuck?!"
We like to have fun with our titles :)
For my somewhat villanous era I listend to Metallica, Nirvana, Iron Maiden, and others. I do still listen to them now along with other bands including Cage the Elephant and Avenged Sevenfold.
Yes, a good drum or guitar solo is my villain music too
You have great taste in music!
My villain themed songs
1. Cannibal by Kesha
2. Sweet but Psycho by Ava Max
3. Boyfriend Dove Cameron
4. Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga
5. Roman’s Revenge by Nicki Minaj
Kelly Clarkson - Since you been gone
Also Weird Al's song by the same name.
"Fighter" by Christina Aguilera for sure!
I thought I was not going to like this video. But it's actually spot on
Blu Cantrell's "Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops!)" was a fun one back in 2001. More recently, there's "Vicious" by Halestorm. THAT is a catchy (but very angry) song.
Also I was ticked when everyone made fun of Miley for "Can't Be Tamed." That song is an edgy bop that has aged well. So has Miley!
My villain phase music consists of "Devour" and "Cut The Cord" by Shinedown, "Hail To The King" by Avenged Sevenfold, and the final boss from New Super Mario Bros Wii.
my "villian-era" song is the album reputation by taylor alison swift
For me, the only one on this list, I can really see work with a villain, is "You Should See Me In A Crown" by Billie Eillish (it is also the only song that I've seen used in a movie for a (young and upcoming) villainess, with "The School for Good & Evil"). Huge fan Ms. Mojo!!! 👍🇨🇱❤
Alanis Morissette you ought to know probably the best
these songs definitely made me feel badass sometime. thank for the list
My favorite "villain" song is Control by Halsey
Great song!
"What You Waiting For?" (2004)
🃏️ Gwen Stefani
This one's a bit more recent, but 'Feeling Good' by Michael Bublé sounds so much like a jazzy disney villain song. It's so amazing and the goosebumps I got when the music hit were insane!
Here are the songs I listened to during my own villain phase: Bad, Bad Leroy Brown, You're No Good, Shame, Shame, Shame, and both versions of the Star Wars Theme.
You're the only other person I've ever heard of with Star Wars Themes as villain songs. I hope your reason is not as bad as mine!

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Breakfast by Dove at least got a mention. Currently in my rotation.
Taylor bad blood is a good villian song to
"Monster" by Skillet is one of my favorites.
I think you missed a pretty obvious one, Bad Guy by Billie Eilish.
Billie wwafawdwg would take over this chart if they picked multiple songs from her
Only new two songs in the video, sad.
My Anthem starts with "I'm tired of being what you want me to be." And that's mood enough
My picks from that phase, are actually "Misery Business" by Paramore, and the vocaloid song "↑Game of Life↓". If that isn't a villainous song, I don't know what is!
I would 100% add Madonna’s Gang Bang and the song Shakira did with Bizarrap to this list
I am surprised Goodbye Earl by the Chicks is not on here. I also have a real oldie, Silent Darkness(Smothered Life) by Wrathchild America is a great one. The protagonist digs himself out of his grave after he is murdered and goes out for revenge, haunting those who killed him.

Can you guys do a top 20 agatha christie books? Thanks in advanced!
Hell yeah!!
"The theme song for billing departments everywhere" 😅🤣😂
Look what you made me do is the best music video I’ve ever seen. Taylor Swift made it so meaningful with all those call outs to her real life situations. I love her!
absolutely 1000% agree
Tay-Tay will write a villain song about anyone who doesn't "save" her. And sing it for 10 minutes right in front of Joe-Joe.

Some songs are epic for your heel phase
This Ain’t a Scene It’s an Arms Race by Fall Out Boy will instantly make you feel like a villain
What about Set It Off’s collab Partners In Crime’s with Ash Costello of New Years Day
i dont think they just stopped performing it "for a few years", im pretty sure hayley said they had stopped performing it altogether
Originally that was their intention, but they've started playing it again recently.
You forgot to mention ", Picture to Burn" by Taylor Swift
I know its not that popular so it can't be among the songs "we all" sing, but Madness by Ruelle definitely is a villain-in the-making song.
What about Goodbye Earl from the Dixie Chicks???
Can’t Be Tamed. Bad Girls are my bad girl playlist
I greatly appreciate that Ms Mojo remembered Demi's pronouns!
Yes we all did
Paramore Misery Business is still the best song to listen.
Carrie Underwood's song's only flaw is she carves her name into his seats. Stupid. That's evidence. I adore the song, but I always scold her for not wearing gloves. Step Ups dance to Bust Your Window is epic...js
I love Crown, but how can you not include “You Oughta Know”!?
Jazmine Sullivan bust your windows should definitely be one of the best revenge songs❤
Misery Business is a great track! I actually would love to sing that at my husband's ex-I have my reasons...
Shitlist by L7 and other Riot Grrrl songs are also perfect villain phase tracks.
Yes! I was introduced to that song by watching Natural Born Killers. Went straight out and bought the soundtrack.
Bad Girls was my ring tone at one point of life. lol
Look You Make Me Do
I’m surprised Earl by The Chicks didn’t make the listv
