At least, meiteis always says both the community is suffering despite the fact that it was kukis who started the violence on 3rd May. Have you seen any kukis or leaders talking equally for the meiteis? Whenever i see their interviews, kukis are way more communal and they only talk about themselves and keeps saying meiteis this, that but they don't even acknowledge what they did which led to this violence.
