  • We explore one of the most historic areas in all of Scotland, North East Fife. A centre of the Pictish empire, the crucible of Christianity in Scotland and a world famous home of learning and Golf this part of the world squeezes a lot into a small area.
Fortified tower houses, castles, cathedrals, museums and some really nice places to eat... whats not to like??
Best not to mention the Mabel related reversing mishap...

I love a good castle, graveyard and a cathedral also. Loved seeing the Pictish art. Beautiful views from the top of the tower. TFS ❤

Another great video. I love how you show us some of the less-touristy things as well as a bit of the touristy things, if that makes sense. So sorry to see that you damaged Mabel's backside. I hope it isn't too costly to repair. Oh, and y'all clean up well (you look nice all dressed up). :)

Love this. I am of largely Scottish descent. My mom (whose maiden name was Brown) her family is from the Fife area (Kircaldy area is one I know of for sure) And my dad's family was largely from Iona and were kicked off by the Duke of Argyll in 1849....both mom and dad's families ended up here in Canada. So the Skye Life Channel pointed me to your channel and I am loving them both.....thanks for the visual tour or areas where my ancestors may have trod. I love see it.

I especially appreciated the mine stairs. They were smooth as glass. Many boots climbed those.
The stamps, views and art were so special to see.
Thanks for the package tip to access it all. Every penny counts..well we don't have those anymore, but you get my drift.
Not sure why but have a fascination with grave markers and tomb stones. Always enjoyed learning about the markings and bit of history.
Thanks for letting us tag along.

We the viewers are glad that you our tour guide is in good shape or we would not have enjoyed that view. What a beautiful place. And no I don't golf and I am Canadian. As I said before I enjoy your humor throughout your VLOGS. Thanks for showing the gravestones they are so unique.

The mine is interesting but must have been a whole different experience with candles and the fear the enemy were going to blow theirs up at any moment.

This American is a bit of a royalist, and very much enjoyed this look at the environs where William and Catherine met and fell in love 🩷
And the second hat was perfect for Bex. It looked cool.

Another great video. Good on you for exploring the mine (couldn't do it!) and climbing St Rules. We had a chuckle at the other visitor's face when you appeared at the top. A heck of a climb. Sorry to hear about Mabel's drama. These things happen but we always hope they don't happen to us!

If you are getting negative feedback regarding your frequent usage of the word pretty; may I suggest: attractive, lovely, good looking, nice looking, fetching, preposessing, appealing, charming, delightful, nice. Or quaint, picturesque, old fashioned, old world.
