I like your idea of letting your other city grow before expanding the bigger one. By the way, I learned how to calculate transport demands from you. Previously, I used to produce as much as I could and stored it in buffer storages. If the city demanded more, I would simply add some trucks, and if the buffer was empty, I would just expand the production.
thx to your help i've got 100k population in my first city today (had no chance because my 2nd was flooded). the city demand changed then. i destroyed 2 house to go back to 99k for answering your question: yes, the demand is scaling up, to 500, and waste producing its going up to 750.
Sometimes you need to think in terms of throughput. If the terminal connection at the city is one supply/waste center that can be reached by one depot, your max rate is the two drones from that depot. Doesn't matter if you have 5 trains. Same with your factories, if all truck routes funnel through a single dropoff depot.
Thanks for the video! Check New Baghdad, you've put 1 route that doesn't reach the train I belive and the trucks won't be unloading :) I sure feel like it has to be planned better for growth. When you start you don't expect the city to spread like crazy. But I think that's normal for everyone. Looking forward how you can make it better for New Hong Kong!
I think the waste problem wasn’t the four bots weren’t fast enough, it may be that you need two waste stations offering the bio waste at the same time. The city may be generating waste faster than one station can produce it for loading. Maybe.
Right at the beginning, with not enough food, is that not because the supply centre itself has a limited distribution rate? I've found, in my cities, that multiple supply depots fix this issue (full depot stacks but a shortage in the population).
I look forward to this series every day. Thanks for taking your time to play this fun game!
Thank you for watching!

Yeah I like to do the math on games when I can (when they give us all the info)

Nice! Yeah, I heard about the new demands (no spoilers, though!)
@@Wally1169 yep, sorry, understand it. tried to keep my sayings still a bit confusing. haha.
Hehe, just joking. I don’t get all hung-up on spoilers (but it’s still nice to not have them when possible)

Yep, for sure. Gotta arrange things better (And that's what I start doing in the next ep)

You’re right, I caught it after the recording and fixed it. I’ll show it in tomorrow’s
Yeah, it kind of becomes a “monster” 😀
I also got a lot better because of your videos. Demanding starts to be very huge. and need to basically get all the resources the planet has lol
Yep, that’s what I’ve gathered from other folks. I’m not playing ahead, so I haven’t experienced it myself

Yep, you'll see me balance that out later in the series.

Oh, that could be
