I really appreciate the kind words mate!! I’m glad you enjoy the videos and it’s great to hear you are learning from them. That’s why I love to make them 😁🎣 Tight lines and thanks for the support!
Thanks so much mate! I appreciate the comment. Yeah I’ve seen those hooks actually, I’ll definitely check them out! I’ve been making a list of hooks to look at so I’ll add them to it 👍🎣 tight lines
No worries Flippa I’m glad you found it helpful mate! If you’re particularly targeting bigger fish like cobia and jewfish, you definitely use at least 30lb - but for snapper the gear in this video is what we use 👍🎣 Tight lines and thanks for the support as always mate 🙌
Very informative video mate. I have most likely said it before but I think you do some of the most useful and entertaining videos I. The TH-cam of fishing. If you can’t manage a snapper after this video I’d give up. Would love to see video about your drifting especially how to set up that parachute thing?
Thanks heaps Paul I really appreciate the kind words and I’m glad you think the videos are helpful! 🙌🎣 I’ll definitely do a video soon of how we drift and our full process when setting up to fish. I’m also planning on doing a video on how to read the weather and what we look for on the sounder when we’re out there! Tight lines and thanks again for the support as always mate 👍
Great information mate, heres a small tip for when your rinsing off spin reels with fresh water. Always tighten the drag right up when rinsing, this allows less water to enter drag component’s. Remember to back the drag off after rinsing as leaving it super tight in storage can cause damage. Cheers Will
Hey mate, thanks so much for the comment! That is a fantastic tip, that is the best way to wash and maintain your reels between trips, you’re absolutely spot on! Thanks for sharing that info mate, tight lines and thanks again for watching 👍🎣
@@CamBill Yes mate the original fireline was great stuff! Not even sure if they still make it anymore. I’ve found the lighter Aldi braids can be a bit tough when casting lures all day, but for overhead reels it’s absolutely fine hey 👌
@@willkitching I have aldis line on a few of the Reels I use for casting for bass and bream not that I do much of it now hahahaha. Thanks for sharing and as long as you keep making them I’ll keep commenting mate 👍👍👍
Nice I also like to run flouro leaders, but for my actual rigs I have found Wilson nylon to be a really good line. It's not as stiff as flouro, and ties a really nice Snell. Hook wise I love the black magic KS in a 5/0, they have a straight eye making tying Snell's easy, they last ages without rusting, and double up as great livebait hooks too I have never, ever had a black magic KS hook fail or straighten Keep up the good work will and offer's still open to come down to Coffs any time
Thanks for the comment Jordan I always appreciate your support mate! Thanks for the info on the leader and hooks, I’ll definitely be checking out the black magic KS 5/0s. It’s awesome that they can double up as a live bait hook, because we often catch a yakka or slimy and want to drop it down live on the same rods we’re fishing bait with, but end up having to tie up another line with different hooks. I’ll check them out for sure 👍 Yeah that’s very true about the mono vs fluorocarbon, I don’t think there is much difference most of the time anyway in terms of bites! Another good tip I’ll definitely take you up on that offer one day mate, the fishing down at Coffs looks unreal and I’m keen to get down there at some stage to experience it. I really appreciate that mate and it would be awesome to learn from eachother 🙌
Hey mate, funnily enough I actually use Windows Moviemaker on an old laptop I have! I don’t even think it exists anymore on the newer versions of windows. I’m about to get a new laptop myself, so will have to find a new editing software. What camera and editing software do you use?? Feel free to message me on Facebook bro 👍🎣
Thanks Will. Love your genuine style of presentations. I've learnt heaps mate.
