    In your other, longer canon video you did slightly different settings and said it would replicate Kodachrome 64. One of the bigger changes was in exposure comp. What would you say these settings replicate?

      Thanks for asking. I didn't have any simulation in mind for this one; just results I like

    Thank you , do you have setting mode for pretty selfie shot?

    • @vmcamposCameraClub

      Thanks for watching!
      For selfies I would change exposure +1/3 (instead of -1/3) to get a bit more light on the face; White Balance keep as Daylight, Saturation only +1, Sharpness -1, Contrast -1, Skin Tone -1, Blue -1, Green -1, Red +1, ISO 100. I like these settings for most selfies.
      Also, try turning on Flash, and see how you like that look.
      Good luck! 📸

    I did it like this video, but the color doesn't come out as perfect as the last picture. Did you use an additional editing application?

    • @vmcamposCameraClub
      @vmcamposCameraClub  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! No those photos were not edited. But what you're seeing is that I shot that last photo near sunset. This is known as golden hour, and the light is naturally more yellow. So try these settings and take photos at the golden hour where you live. This is usually the hour before sunset. My time was also cloudless so that affects things. Good luck!

    So should the EV be -1/3 or +1/3? This short and your video about Kodachrome64 settings contradict themselves.

      It depends on what kind of look you want. Overexposure is a certain look, and underexposure is another look. Both are good looks, but it just depends on what you want. The great thing is you can shoot a shot in each of those two modes and see which one you like best. Unlike film you have unlimited shots!

    Isn't the setting only valid for your model of powershot?

    • @vmcamposCameraClub
      @vmcamposCameraClub  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually these settings are valid for many in the power shot series. Canon did a good job of having these features in a variety of their cameras. 📸

    How to set the green grid

    • @vmcamposCameraClub
      @vmcamposCameraClub  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The green grid appears when the camera is focused. Lightly press the shutter button to lock focus, it should turn green and maybe make a beep sound; then take the photo. Hope that helps!

    This will work on the 360 hs?

      I haven't used that model, but if it has a Custom mode like mine, it should work. 👍

    • @vmcamposCameraClub

      Yes on the d-pad usually can press the up direction and that will access your ISO settings. Hope this helps!

      Depends on what you photograph. My example images at the end looked good, I think.
      What settings have you tried?
