I love this narrative. Ohtani was awful and the Dodgers figured it out. Judge wasn’t great but Soto and Stanton were just like Betts and Freeman picked up Ohtani. The difference in the series was defense and yes, Judge was a part of that. We handed them 2 runs in game 1 and then 5 more in game 5. Judge wasn’t good but he’s not the reason we lost this series. That’s not how baseball works
You gotta give Aaron Judge respect. He really showed class throughout the series and took accountability for the mistakes he made. He’s a true role model for the younger generation. This is coming from a Dodgers fan.
He still should be traded. East Salary if you have to but he's part the problem. He doesn't actually lead this team. Or show leadership. I would rather lose with players whodon't have talent but hustle and put in the effort than win with players who squander their talent like this guy has.

He totally did. A routine fly ball and he missed it? On top of his dogshit ABs throughout the whole postseason. Idc what he’s done during the regular season. He fell way short of expectations this postseason and overall for his career postseason performances. He is a fraud.
You dropped the 3rd out or whatever out it was, in the biggest game of your life an easy line drive. Kept the inning going and the rest is history. Dodgers played like champs and we're rewarded like so. Thats just inexcusable and yes you did absolutely give the game away.
@joewizuber270 got comfortable with the 5-0 or 5-1 whatever it was lead at the time. They all did. And what pitcher doesn't know to cover first when a grounder is hit to the first baseman?? That is a requirement to sprint over there to help cover even if the first baseman can make the play. Neither one of them tried to make the play. Im a cards fan and I remember a playoff game vs the Astros years back after Pujols hit a 3 run homer in the 9th to take the lead by 2, he still made sure he hustled at first base. One ball was hit to him and it was a foot race to the bag and a Pujols sprinted and actually slid into first base to ensure that out. That's a winner. Neither one of those 2 dudes on the Yankees tried or looked like they knew what they were doing. We lost the series though lol. But still that's what champions do. Then dude at 2nd forces the ball to 3rd base like a dumbazz instead of trying for 2nd or first. And finally why didn't the so called manager come out there during that inning to talk to his pitcher and at least try to see if you could calm things down a bit. Show some fire, passion and accountability. Idk why I'm so mad when I'm not a fan of either team lol but I was rooting for the Yankees. If I'm Yankees owner tomorrow morning there would be some players cut and staff fired.
Thank God your not a Yankees fan! And as far as Gerrit Cole he pitch his ass off in both games buddy! And 1st base, with the energy he expended to make of for the errors on Judge & Volpy i would've thought Rizzo would charged the ball & pick his pitcher up. Like the pitcher tried to do for his defenders@
@joeyoung4130 blah blah blah they are all to blame. There's no excuse both the pitcher and the first baseman should have been sprinting towards the bag. That was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen. Guys had like 3 or 4 Bill Buckner moments in that inning. If I was the owner I'm cleaning house iidc what contracts are or how much people are making. And yeah the damn manager didn't even confront his pitcher after that disaster to see if it could calm him down or help with something to get out of that inning. Just sits there spitting out sunflower seeds like he doesn't give a f. The entire world knew dodgers were winning this game when they tied it. I turned it off when the Yankees were winning 6-7 and loaded the bases with no outs in the 8th. I knew there was no way they were escaping that inning without at least 2 runs if not more. Sure enough I finally decided to check the score and they lost. By 1.
i'm sure he is. but...no guts, no glory. He's an elite performer who laid an egg - but he puts on those cleats again in the spring and does it all over again

Well…I hope Juan Soto re-signs, I hope Gleyber Torres comes back and is the leadoff hitter, Giancarlo Stanton deserves a standing ovation for the rest of every game in his career, Luke Weaver is great, and Tim Hill was such a good find. Gerrit Cole is the best pitcher in the league. I feel so bad for Stanton. He deserves a ring and did everything right this postseason. Judge was starting to hit like Judge and the offense was waking up in these last two games but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. I love this team and it’s sad how this season ended bc when they were locked in it was fun to watch
Yankee fans boo'd Mariano Rivera so why would they treat Stanton any different when in all his time with the Yanks, he's had ONE decent playoff run and a bunch of chokes.

Judge is my favorite player, best offensive player in the league, and we would not have even sniffed the WS without him. This was not the result anyone wanted or ever thought could happen with him as our captain. Thank you Aaron for being the best player in the game this season. I am sorry for ridding you in previous comments. Let’s hope you and the team learn from your mistakes. I hope Hal Steinbrenner plans to spend a lot more money because this team is far from complete.. They better get a real manager not a guy who buddies up to all the players.
Yeah right!!! This Collosal Calamity begins with him and his insecure outfielding. The Yankees and their new York narrative. Boone was out-coached, and the Yankees are not fundamentally sound.
Aaron Judge is gonna be hard to live up to this as a New York Captain. Derek Jeter felt Cole should have stayed pitching. I didn't feel the urgency to win. Batting averages dont make Great Player showing up in crunch time makes Greats
I give them props doing these interviews so close to a heartbreaking loss. With the emotions they’re going thru, to stay classy and answer the questions, takes a lot. Hell of a bounce back at the plate for him tho
That wasnt the only thing that went wrong, the catcher interference, that was bad. Let’s not forget that the pitcher didn’t even get on first base to get that third out. That was the worst part imo

Except more of the same s&@t next year!!! I’ve watched more games in the past five years and I’m done with this team. Rather spend my energy on my grandson playing baseball!!!
You had the game in your hand and you blew it In classic Yankee fashion this year, thanks cap! This one will leave a bad taste in Yankee fan's mouths for a long time!
This series should NOT have ended. The Yankees should have won game one as well as last night. If not for that Bone head play by Gleyber Torres in the eight inning of game one, where he failed to field the ball and let Ohtani get to third, that entire incident with Nestor Cortez does not happen. WE win game one. If Not for Aaron Boone, and Anthony Volpe and their garbage play in the field we win game five. Then we could had a chance to win the Series. Instead the season is over. The Dodgers are not a better team than the Yankees. They're just better coached.
2004 - Blew a 3-0 lead 2024 - Worst inning and defensive performance in World Series history! Maybe baseball history It’s so fitting that 20 years later we suffer another brutal series defeat. SO FITTING! This game and game 1 will stick with me for long while…
Yankees are cursed to lose with “the sleeping GIANT”. Sure he’ll put up big numbers during the boring regular season but this dude is a choke artist extreme when it really matters.
He doesn’t want it bad enough. You can see it in how he played in the post season and in his eyes. You have to want it like you’re going to war and want to come out alive. Run to catch the ball like your life depended on it. It’s like he’s unphased. Things happen and life unfolds in mysterious ways sometimes, but this game will be talked about for generations to come, and if you’re die hard baseball, then what just happened in game 5 is important enough to the person (player, fan, coach) that it will not be something you can ever really live down. It will stay with you. And in the history books. In a gritty city like NYC, when ppl see the players who fumbled in this game, I don’t know that they will be able to live that moment down. Ppl will see them and think of Game 5 WS, 5th inning in the back of their minds. In that way, I feel for these great players that lessons were learned at such an expensive cost.
To put your shoes in our feet, the way you felt about Ohtani and Freddie is the way we felt about Judge and Stanton. The Yankees lineup is who dodgers fans look to when we want to simulate that fear that other teams must have when seeing our boys. The main reason the win felt so good is because we had a worthy challenger and a team that made us feel like winning wouldn’t be a fluke or platter served. We felt that we had the better team this year and we set out to prove it. That doesn’t mean we didn’t believe that the Yankees couldn’t prove us wrong. Water cooler talk and dinner table banter made us ignore all our problems in life and focus on feeling lucky too play against histories best team just to gain a bit more respect. Yankees are like our big brother we want to be like when we grow up and I’m proud to say it. 💙💙💙💙🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶
You gave them 6 outs! Wtf when is this going to stop with Yankee fans defending this shit? George is rolling in his fucking grave. Win or get fired, what happened to that?
I’m not too hot on his Post Season play. That error was horrendous. Before that play I thought the Yankees might actually come back and win in 7. Dodgers were struggling at the plate, running the bases, pitching and fielding. Yankees had been on fire. He’s no Derrick Jeter.
Dodgers pitching was also on fumes Had the Yankees won this game especially after treinen goes for that long that’s a huge blow+yankees have had lots of looks at the Dodgers pen by game 6 time

As a dodger fan, Judge is undoubtedly one of the best baseball players on this planet. Whenever that contract ends, if you want that chip and ring, you know where to find us.
Yankees need a solid first baseman, 3rd baseman and starter. Weaver was amazing as a first year closer, stanton and cole great, even gleyber torres did decent. The errors were horrible to watch. I wouldnt mind a coaching change as well. Was the worst yankees game ever witnessed from a long time fan. I know behind this scenes this one really hurt judge and the team. Even as a HUGE Judge supporter. He did end our season.
I’m sure he will think about you in 48 hrs on a warm beach while you’re at a job you hate
@@JohnnyCamaro13 you have obviously never met a professional athlete.
No, theres plenty of blame to go around. Cashman,Boone, coaching staff etc.
Wouldn’t have gotten there without him. Shit happens!
You're terrific and I thank you! Congrats.
He still should be traded. East Salary if you have to but he's part the problem. He doesn't actually lead this team. Or show leadership. I would rather lose with players whodon't have talent but hustle and put in the effort than win with players who squander their talent like this guy has.
As a dodgers fan judge is a class act wish you guys nothing but the best hopefully he wins a ring next year.
Dodger fan here. At least Judge hit one out. Shohei didn't do Shhhit this whole series.
@@powerband5235true ngl I thought he was gonna show up for World Series mvp but at least my boy sho got a ring
As I Yankees I don’t give a damn what u or any other dodgers fan think about Judge. The man didn’t show up the entire playoffs. And u clowns over here saying he’s a class act, he’s this he’s that. Seriously we are not trying to hear that bs right now.
I'm glad you're smiling and have a good time the old Captain wouldn't be smiling, now we have a craptain
Stay benched in October bro
Bro stop I’m a Cleveland fan judge is good he was in a slump Othani didn’t have a great World Series either but Othani had some big post season moments and judge had a few too just a bad slump

Hang in there Aaron... you deserve many more chances in your career. Just keep being you. It speaks volumes how my kids love the Dodgers but also love you
Baseball gods have deemed you unworthy. 2 uncouth fans, 4 errors, 6 runs from Freddie Freeman. Patterns. The gods.
Yes, L.A fans are very classy throwing trash at padre players. And r.ioting when they win. But dont worry this will be their last in a while.
@ we shunned those fans. You cheered yours. Results. 5 run comeback. Gods. NY sleep.
You didn’t give it away? Seriously?
Three errors, and you yourself made an error that was so easy you and I could have caught it, but we didn't give it away. Aron judge is a joke and a bum.
He totally did. A routine fly ball and he missed it? On top of his dogshit ABs throughout the whole postseason. Idc what he’s done during the regular season. He fell way short of expectations this postseason and overall for his career postseason performances.
He is a fraud.
@@vincentbranciforte9832you ain’t catchin shit

Mister May.
Aarons a class act man, messed up how much hate he’s getting but I know he’ll bounce back 💪🏽 wish him nothing but the best
Aaron "The May to September Only" Judge
You dropped the 3rd out or whatever out it was, in the biggest game of your life an easy line drive. Kept the inning going and the rest is history. Dodgers played like champs and we're rewarded like so. Thats just inexcusable and yes you did absolutely give the game away.
pressure bruh thats all i can say
By 1.
He will be on a warm beach in 48 hrs with not a care in the world
Sorry to say judge but you the one that didnt get the job done if you would of caught that ball things would've been different
Boone In ❤with Nestor’s mustache simple ✨

It's a fuckin disgrace, makes me sick
i'm sure he is. but...no guts, no glory. He's an elite performer who laid an egg - but he puts on those cleats again in the spring and does it all over again
@@cclin5760😂😂 This shit had me crying
Judge needs to go. Keep Soto and trade this choke artist for pitching and more mentally tough players.
I can't help but feel for Aaron, such a great dude man.
I’m not a Yankees fan by any stretch but this guy is all class! I wish him well and hope he gets a ring some day.
Great interview on hid part.
As a life long Red Sox fan, I've really grown into respecting Judge's character a lot. Incredibly humble, respectful and amicable guy. Definitely a great role model to the youth.
Dodgers fan here. Even though i don't like the Yankees i will always root for Aaron Judge. The man is a class act and one heck of a power hitter, just a very likeable player. Hope he gets a ring real soon. Hopefully not against us though lol 🤞🤞
His error cost the game...can't make minor league errors when it counts, there's no consolation for second place.
That’s part of the game One team must win and one must lose. Nothing but respect.
He’s trying not to smile again this whole interview I can’t stand judge
ok....
It takes a very *unique* person to dislike Aaron Judge 🙄
Nice catch
Fr. He looked great in the field
😂😂 I can't wait to be in los for the parade thank bum I mean judge
Word
Yankee fans boo'd Mariano Rivera so why would they treat Stanton any different when in all his time with the Yanks, he's had ONE decent playoff run and a bunch of chokes.
Let me tell you something my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane.
It's the hope that kills you
@@auto-systematicthey need to rebuild the entire team. Yankees fans keep telling themselves it’ll be different but it won’t unless they make some big changes and are done with being mediocre. Build a bigger superteam than the dodgers if you have to.
Judge is my favorite player, best offensive player in the league, and we would not have even sniffed the WS without him. This was not the result anyone wanted or ever thought could happen with him as our captain. He struggled mightily offensively and then made the 1st error in that nightmare inning, just an absolutely brutal post-season for Judge that will sadly affect his legacy negatively.....which sucks so BAD! As a Judge fan this was the worst case scenario come to life but i will still continue to support and root for him until he retires. Class act, true leader, incredible production....our captain and i beleive he will win one in pinstripes soon. Ty for the MVP season Judge, u got them next time.
As a Yankee fan, I hope judge never makes it to October ball again, that way he can never embarrass the pinstiripes like hes done every time.
Feel so bad for you Aaron you deserve better than how history is going to look at you.
He doesnt deserve better. He fucked up a routine fly ball that you and i can make in our sleep.
Don't feel bad for bum Aaron Judge, who couldn't make a simple routine fly ball that anyone could make.
Yes,he deserves criticism.
Judge is a disgusting postseason choker. He killed the Yankees.
Don’t feel bad. He doesn’t seem to take anything seriously.
3 MVPs and 5 all stars in the batting lineup got the job done for the Dodgers. Yankees, hold your heads up, you'll be back again and will hopefully smear there faces when you do! Odds were against you all series but you kept fighting!
It isn’t so easy anymore now that teams spend what y’all spend.
@Tman-l7h hell no it isn't easy! Small market teams stand NO CHANCE. It's money ball now, they should change the name.
.184 avg in the postseason playoff underperformer
Whos drop was better? Fat Joe's microphone in game 3 after that pre game performance or your fly ball in game 5?
Getting Fat Joe to perform was worse than losing the ws
*JUAN SOTO WOULD SIGN WITH THE NY METS* 😅
The worst performance by a 350,000,000 player in the history of baseball. You owe a refund
Trade Judge.
So impressed he out giving interviews! I don’t think I would have been emotionally stable after that game!
You missed a routine fly ball aaron. Wtf bro. Smh
That wasnt the only thing that went wrong, the catcher interference, that was bad. Let’s not forget that the pitcher didn’t even get on first base to get that third out. That was the worst part imo
Jazz didn't pan out...get a 3rd baseman and pay Soto
POs what good is your regular season if you can’t even make simple plays in the playoffs
Aaron is a class act but the pressure is too much for him
When people call judge the Superman of baseball, I didn’t believe it.
But seeing how the post season is his kryptonite…
I believe it.
Lifelong Yankees fan here. Been watching this team since early 70s. This team was in the WS because of a weak American League!!! Even if they get Soto back they have soo many holes Hal isn’t going to pay to fill them!! Baboone is going anywhere, Assman isn’t going anywhere and there’s THE BIGGEST PROBLEM!!!! Except more of the same s&@t next year!!! I’ve watched more games in the past five years and I’m done with this team. Rather spend my energy on my grandson playing baseball!!!
What dont kill you make you better ❤
Im a Yankees fan since I was a kid and I have to admit that this has been the BIGGEST choke in history for an MVP in the postseason
Dont worry we dont "judge" you for that MASSIVE error in the 5th THANKS captain 😂😅😂
2004 - Blew a 3-0 lead
2024 - Worst inning and defensive performance in World Series history! Maybe baseball history
It’s so fitting that 20 years later we suffer another brutal series defeat. SO FITTING!
This game and game 1 will stick with me for long while…
Will never forgive Judge for his poor play and his crucial error in the 5th inning which led to the collapse.
This will sting for a long time.
Judge shouldn’t be captain because the post season is where legends are made and he’s horrible when it counts the regular season means nothing
Erron Judge
Judge is a disgusting postseaon choker. He isn't built for prime time. A weak leader. Mr. regular season.
american league champions. a.l. most valuable player. he can be proud
Those errors are contagious af.
Take it, learn from it, and come back stronger next year. I love this team, and this hurts so bad but this is baseball. Yankees fan forever and ever!
I’m not too hot on his Post Season play. That error was horrendous. Before that play I thought the Yankees might actually come back and win in 7. Dodgers were struggling at the plate, running the bases, pitching and fielding. Yankees had been on fire. He’s no Derrick Jeter.
Dodgers pitching was also on fumes
Had the Yankees won this game especially after treinen goes for that long that’s a huge blow+yankees have had lots of looks at the Dodgers pen by game 6 time
Captain Zero, ALL RISE!
Dodger fan here. Feel sorry for Aaron judge. He's a classy guy. The sun will rise tomorrow, aaron. Look forward to you and shohei continuing your rivalry next season.
You lost the Game by making a little league error
Your little league coach would say the physical errors I can understand but the mental errors like Cole not covering first base is unacceptable. At least Judge owned it Cole not so much
He dont care.. paid millions
I used to tell Aaron judge he can't hold the whole team up all the time but this time around he dropped the ball on purpose
Also were gonna need a solid outfielder because no way we resign Juan.
No they need a front office, a coaching staff, a PR Department and a complete overhaul
Judge had A terrible , terrible series , He can’t be our captain anymore 😒
You better hope Soto resigns or you’re never winning a title without him
I’m not upset at the World Series loss. I’m upset at the fact that Juan Soto is leaving us😢😢😢. I wish I could go back in time and have tried my hardest at baseball over choosing to play football. I would love to have made it in the big leagues and play for my favorite team and never leave for money.
Aaron Judge doesn’t care if he wins he’s making 1 billion dollars a year lmao. The first thing he did was complement the other team he’s a chump
