@@davidstephenson8656it’s probably worse. That drop on a routine flyball was downright pathetic and unacceptable by a pro. Starks just got cold shooting the ball which does happen…Judge’s drop almost never happens at any level outside of little league.

It was on purpose like how the 1st baseman didn't run and step on the bag after fielding the easy ground ball 😅 and judge letting that fly ball go over his head 😂 you guys can't tell it's rigged 😂😂😂

As a dodgers fan , this guy is a class act and an asset to not only the Yankees but to baseball as a whole . In baseball and especially in the World Series, you have to perform at the highest level , but Judge didn’t get it together until it was too late. Unfortunate.

Judge, I know you tried so hard. I was so sad to see my favorite player gets broken. I hoped you hit the ball with rage against slump when your performance was not good, And I was so happy to see your homerun finally in the world series. Though an error you made is so sad, I don't want to blame you. Because I know you tried so hard. And you gave me new hope when I was sad after Jeter retired. Though I can't defend you when I see your stat and performance in the postseason, I'm still rooting for you. Always. That's only I can do for you. I am just so sad. Because it was the world series. I waited 15 years for it. All Yankees fans in the world waited. Many Yankees fans might blame you because actually they love you. So I hope you don't feel depressed much. All people can't be perfect. That's why we learn something from failure. I know you will remember all these moments and feelings, To be stronger. I'm sure you would learn something. 2024 season is over. Start again next year. And I know this team couldn't come to the postseason without you. So I need to say, Thank you Aaron. You're still a MVP. And we love you. I wasn’t expecting them to win the World Series but to get to a game 6 and have hope when no other team has done it would have fealt like a small victory in this amazing season. And to come alive in such an important game which he had homer and an amazing catch would have been great for him.

I love this narrative. Ohtani was awful and the Dodgers figured it out. Judge wasn’t great but Soto and Stanton were just like Betts and Freeman picked up Ohtani. The difference in the series was defense and yes, Judge was a part of that. We handed them 2 runs in game 1 and then 5 more in game 5. Judge wasn’t good but he’s not the reason we lost this series. @joewizuber270 got comfortable with the 5-0 or 5-1 whatever it was lead at the time. They all did. And what pitcher doesn't know to cover first when a grounder is hit to the first baseman?? That is a requirement to sprint over there to help cover even if the first baseman can make the play. Neither one of them tried to make the play. Im a cards fan and I remember a playoff game vs the Astros years back after Pujols hit a 3 run homer in the 9th to take the lead by 2, he still made sure he hustled at first base. One ball was hit to him and it was a foot race to the bag and a Pujols sprinted and actually slid into first base to ensure that out. That's a winner. Neither one of those 2 dudes on the Yankees tried or looked like they knew what they were doing. We lost the series though lol. But still that's what champions do. Then dude at 2nd forces the ball to 3rd base like a dumbazz instead of trying for 2nd or first. And finally why didn't the so called manager come out there during that inning to talk to his pitcher and at least try to see if you could calm things down a bit. Show some fire, passion and accountability. Idk why I'm so mad when I'm not a fan of either team lol but I was rooting for the Yankees. If I'm Yankees owner tomorrow morning there would be some players cut and staff fired.

Thank God your not a Yankees fan! And as far as Gerrit Cole he pitch his ass off in both games buddy! Like the pitcher tried to do for his defenders@

    • @brandonmcduff
      @brandonmcduff 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

@joeyoung4130 blah blah blah they are all to blame. There's no excuse both the pitcher and the first baseman should have been sprinting towards the bag. That was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen. Guys had like 3 or 4 Bill Buckner moments in that inning. If I was the owner I'm cleaning house iidc what contracts are or how much people are making. And yeah the damn manager didn't even confront his pitcher after that disaster to see if it could calm him down or help with something to get out of that inning. Just sits there spitting out sunflower seeds like he doesn't give a f. The entire world knew dodgers were winning this game when they tied it. I turned it off when the Yankees were winning 6-7 and loaded the bases with no outs in the 8th. I knew there was no way they were escaping that inning without at least 2 runs if not more. Sure enough I finally decided to check the score and they lost. By 1.

If not for that Bone head play by Gleyber Torres in the eight inning of game one, where he failed to field the ball and let Ohtani get to third, that entire incident with Nestor Cortez does not happen. WE win game one.

He doesn’t want it bad enough. You can see it in how he played in the post season and in his eyes. You have to want it like you’re going to war and want to come out alive. Run to catch the ball like your life depended on it. It’s like he’s unphased. Things happen and life unfolds in mysterious ways sometimes, but this game will be talked about for generations to come, and if you’re die hard baseball, then what just happened in game 5 is important enough to the person (player, fan, coach) that it will not be something you can ever really live down. It will stay with you. And in the history books. In a gritty city like NYC, when ppl see the players who fumbled in this game, I don’t know that they will be able to live that moment down. Ppl will see them and think of Game 5 WS, 5th inning in the back of their minds. In that way, I feel for these great players that lessons were learned at such an expensive cost.

To put your shoes in our feet, the way you felt about Ohtani and Freddie is the way we felt about Judge and Stanton. The Yankees lineup is who dodgers fans look to when we want to simulate that fear that other teams must have when seeing our boys. The main reason the win felt so good is because we had a worthy challenger and a team that made us feel like winning wouldn’t be a fluke or platter served. We felt that we had the better team this year and we set out to prove it. That doesn’t mean we didn’t believe that the Yankees couldn’t prove us wrong. Water cooler talk and dinner table banter made us ignore all our problems in life and focus on feeling lucky too play against histories best team just to gain a bit more respect. Dodgers pitching was also on fumes
Had the Yankees won this game especially after treinen goes for that long that’s a huge blow+yankees have had lots of looks at the Dodgers pen by game 6 time

You lost the Game by making a little league error

Your little league coach would say the physical errors I can understand but the mental errors like Cole not covering first base is unacceptable. At least Judge owned it Cole not so much

I used to tell Aaron judge he can't hold the whole team up all the time but this time around he dropped the ball on purpose

As a dodger fan, Judge is undoubtedly one of the best baseball players on this planet. Whenever that contract ends, if you want that chip and ring, you know where to find us.

Yankees need a solid first baseman, 3rd baseman and starter. Weaver was amazing as a first year closer, stanton and cole great, even gleyber torres did decent. The errors were horrible to watch. I wouldnt mind a coaching change as well. Was the worst yankees game ever witnessed from a long time fan. I know behind this scenes this one really hurt judge and the team. Also were gonna need a solid outfielder because no way we resign Juan.

You better hope Soto resigns or you’re never winning a title without him

I’m not upset at the World Series loss. I’m upset at the fact that Juan Soto is leaving us😢😢😢. I wish I could go back in time and have tried my hardest at baseball over choosing to play football. I would love to have made it in the big leagues and play for my favorite team and never leave for money.

Aaron Judge doesn’t care if he wins he’s making 1 billion dollars a year lmao. The first thing he did was complement the other team he’s a chump
