Thank you for speaking on hair porosity and how DT products relate to that specifically. My hair drinks up the moisture in the air, poofs up and reverts very quickly…. So that’s high porosity right? For skin products…. I have PCOS and perimenopause acne. So if you come across any new items to help that please shout me out! My skin is responding well to the green global beauty care blemish control line. Thanks! Oh! And my hair really enjoys the TWIST product line that was a closeout this summer.
You’re welcome. Not many people know how porosity affects the type of products they should use. As for your hair, it sounds like it might be high porosity but to be sure do a strand test and if it sinks immediately it’s high porosity if not it’s low porosity.
@sonyawhitaker1167 ok, you might have high porosity but to know for sure you can do a strand test. If it sinks immediately it’s hair porosity. With that information you can start trying to thickening it up with different oils like rosemary, jojoba, and tree tea oil.
Hey. I’m doing well. Hope the same for you. I was dealing with the same issue. Are you keeping your hair moisturized and wearing a silk or satin bonnet when you’re sleeping and when you’re in the house relaxing? Doing this will help keep the moisture in your hair follicles. As well has limiting the amount of heat you put on your hair. So if you use a blow dryer or any type of heated styling tools, try to use it on the lowest temp possible where you will still get the results that you want but the temp is not extremely high like over 400°.
@rizz1037 ok, start wearing a bonnet. As for oil you can test different ones from Via Natural, Dollar Tree sells them and the beauty supply for less than $2. I would start with the tea tree and pro growth.
@@charityxstyle I feel like it actually made my hair more dry. I thought the same thing about the coconut in it would be good….well it is not for my hair for sure.
Coconut oil does nothing for my hair type but I thought maybe since it had avocado oil in it that would balance it out. Coconut oil tends to works best for hair that doesn’t take well to moisture.
@tennajones1251 hey Tenna. Coconut oil is good for hair textures that are low porosity. I tried mane and tail years ago when it was popular and it didn’t work for me. My hair responds best to oils like rosemary and tea tree.
Thanks for sharing this great walk through ❤❤❤
@@Mack-c6i you’re welcome. Glad you enjoyed it 🫶🏽.
I love beauty products, thank you for your haul. I bought candy apple products and vanilla bean products. I enjoy the hand and feet masks.
@@ColleenMcGuirk-s9w you’re welcome, Colleen. The hand and foot masks are my faves.
Awesome walk through ❤

Love your informative walk throughs. I have thin, blonde locs. What hair products do you recommend?
Hey Sonya. What’s your hair type? That would influence what you should.
@charityxstyle don't know. It does retain water and since I'm blonde moisture is an issue.

I am not wearing anything at night on the regular, and I use grease because I'm not sure about which moisture to use. I have 4C type hair.

I didn’t not like the leave in conditioner for my hair.
Hey Deana. I had a little hope for it. The coconut oil in it didn’t do anything for my hair.

Coconut oils good for dry hair, st least for mine that horse and mane shampoo used to be good for growing your hair
