Plasmolysis is a process in which plant cells lose water when they are placed in a hypertonic solution and turgid happens in a hypotonic solution.

isnt there a correction that needs to be made ? Plasmolysis occures in hypertonic and turguid is occured in hypotonic solution right ?
Hi Susan. I just rewatched the video, and I think that's what I said. Plasmolysis will happen when a cell is in a hypertonic environment, and water will flow from the hypotonic cell into the hypertonic environment.
