Something I love about sims three is how much you can change everything. My mom plays sims three and you can change individual colors and fabrics on clothes and stuff.
@@moshroomba Bare minimum, just give us the color wheel again in Sims 5. Create-a-pattern was nice but isn't necessary, considering how laggy and indecisive that gets lol.

Changing the bed sheets and bed frame separately would be a dream come true. Either that or actually making the wood swatches match with each other instead of being slightly different
Yess! I hate having to change the entire colour scheme because the bed won't match!
I'm not certain if one has already mentioned this, however, Kayla, there is no need for you to have an outside litter bin as the can inside will do quite fine with all the garbage! As it transforms everything into the money, there wiil never be a problem with it being overfilled and it'll always work just fine and the simoleons otherwise spent on the outside can shall definitely come in handy!

I always make a baby room that is off the moms bedroom, and then lock that door. Sometimes i will allow access to one teen to help. It annoys me so much when the kids try to help.
I’m so happy now
The only perfect 100 baby homes are microhomes for that double skill gain!!

With my 100 baby house I made the kids and teens rooms on the upper floor, accessible only by ladder. Toddlers can't go and wake the kids up when they have nightmares. The mom and baby room on the ground floor is locked to all but mom. There's a toddler room next to her room and a dog door connecting them so the toddlers can wake her up if they need to.
Playing this with the new neighbourhood storyline’s evolving thing on might be so fun! Imagine every kids being merged into another families home and just seeing where they go family tree wise
I've been playing the 100 baby challenge with the MCC mod for a while now and it's so fun to watch all the kids go off and start families on their own! One of my sons has 5 kids, all from different mothers 😂
@@mrgreenleafx how do you do that? I hate how other sims don’t go off and have relationships without you making them, I want all the sims having children and grandchildren and not just completely new sims every generation when the old ones died.
@@rachelcookie321 with the new neighborhood stories thing it's way more common for inactive households to do their own thing if you enable it, they can get married and adopt kids/have babies, move and etc. Sometimes nothing happens though! I played a legacy challenge recently and most of the spares I moved out still died alone, but if you can set them up with a partner they end up having kids pretty consistently
@@rachelcookie321 I use a mod, the MC Comand Center! It's basically story progression but has way more features than what the game has implemented now
@@hibiscuspetals02 yea but the neighbour stories thing is super janky. Like if a sim is family oriented they always have like six children. It will just mess up my game instead of making it feel more alive.

Thats why i always get it. I am constantly picking my outside can back up i swear. And no. You can put the potty waste in the money can and get money back

Tip: Don’t put bassinets down, you get them for free when having a baby and then you obviously get 150 $imoleons free!

The spiffing Brit knows this quite well. Look into it he’s another youtuber and he exploits this to quite an effect
I lock my toddlers in a room off the livingroom but with that cute toddler stuff fence and gate so that they don't seem quite as locked in and people can see them if they're in the livingroom (bit like a giant playpen) so I feel better about doing it 🙈😂

I love how Stanley immediately went to destroy the dollhouse when you unpaused him for just a second... the 'hates children' trait is wonderful.
I am currently doing a 100 baby challenge plus a complete every collection, aspiration, max every skill and career, have every trait in the game, AND do it all with ONE SIM (by using the youth potion unlocked by points).
So far a have a billionaire, great great grandmother, never needs to sleep, eat, shower, or socialize, super sim 😎

I feel like it’s time for a new not so berry set of rules and colours - there’s black, white, brown, etc in the colour swatches. Plus so much different game play so many people don’t touch… NSB2.0
The play tent from dream home decorator could be a really useful for this I reckon! It can function as a bed for 2 toddlers/children at once and it gives imagination + fun as well.

Hey Kayla a suggestion that might be interesting: USE STANLEY! the version of 100 babies I do is where you have a male sim who has 100 alien babies! I like using custom content to make each kid look really unique because they’re aliens! Hell you could have color coded children for convenience!
I've thought of a fun challenge if you're interested. In the game if you max your sim up in painting, they can create emotion paintings. Paint each emotion and turn them into each room of a house! It's really interesting because you can get different paintings for the same emotion. Good luck! I love your content ❤ keep up the awesome 😀

I always lock the toddlers in their room. Keeps them from playing in the toilet and wandering outside instead of doing their chores (skilling). 😂

I'd really like to see another one of these for even more Sims and a big budget, like for when you're on generation 3 or 4 and almost done and you wanna consolidate everyone in one house so you can make them crank out babies, but you still want it took look decent and for the babies to just gain skills so they can age up already

The dollhouse has been absurdly large lately. Almost like they accidentally sized it up in the code somehow?? I usually only have to size it down twice but now it’s up to 3 times. I’ve seen houses on the gallery that also seem to be experiencing this glitch. Anyone else, or has it always been this big??

That layout is actually really good! You could put a door between the bathroom and the toddlers' room so that you can still lock them in into their rooms (you lock the bathroom main entrance as well for them) but can still bathe and toilet train them.
Ok but what about 100 baby challenge on a short lifespan???
This is going to be a double suffering
That's something EA should look into, actually; making it so that when you select a parent to perform an action with their child random sims cannot displace your action by doing their thing first. I have had that happen so many times with the other parent randomly aiding the baby before my que gets to it, or any random sim who just wants to say hello instead of actually helping with feeding or changing the diaper. I mean if you que it, as the "player" your action should have priority, should it NOT?? That also happens with pretty much any item, I'll be having my sim take a shower and que up using the computer but some rando will walk into my house and just start using it right before my que gets to it and then there's nothing to do but get THEM off and select it again.
You can lock doors for random sims and lower the autonomy of the sim which means ur cues have priority
@@Kytti-not-kitty Lowering autonomy in an 8 sim household is a really bad idea!
I always love seeing how other people do the 100 Baby Challenge. My house setup is similar, but different in a lot of ways. I will say though, I love my "toddler suite" design for keeping the toddlers occupied and contained lol

in Sims 3 you could change every colour separately. Actually, it was INSANE regarding customisation
I like to make a small closet to put the babies in and lock that door and it's small enough that usually they won't put down the toddler they just aged up in the locked room. Also, if you have the play tent, use it because 2 toddler/child sims can sleep in it and it gets up creativity/imagination. Plus, the play tent gets up energy faster than the toddler beds.
