I think the reason she looks like she’s in “a trance” is because once she got clean and sober from cocaine( when she checked herself into the Betty Ford Clinic) in 1986, a psychiatrist prescribed her a very strong powerful sedative called Klonopin. It’s an extremely powerful drug and the doctor only gave it to her so he could continue to get money from her,,,he continued to tell her she needed it, and being a doctor, she believed him. Klonopin just zaps you of any and all your energy. I myself was on a drug similar to it and I can tell you it’s really zaps you of everything. You just go around life like a zombie. So you can see here, that she depleted of all her energy and definitely has that ‘Klonopin haze’ in her eyes. She was dependent on Klonopin for about 8 years. She went into rehab and got clean from it in 1994, just before her record, “Street Angel” was released. She has said of that record,,, that she was really unhappy with it bc of being in that Klonopin haze while making it and went through rehab while making that record.
She’s speaking of Rupert Hine. She was in a Trance. She was onto long out of rehab and then in a Klonopin trance. She speaks about it openly in later years.
