One thing I miss about young Vinicius is the skill. Nowadays Vinicius dribbles well but at a more basic level. He used to have more flair and skills!! Hope he gets that back soon so he can be unstoppable.

Vini is a great example for people who easily criticize young or newly transferred players, I see now that people are criticizing players like mudryk, Nunez, gakpo, anthony etc . Just give them time, they are all young and its their first season at a new club who knows one of them may become world class

To be fair, Benzema took him under his wing. Still foul for saying that but he helped him out a lot along the way. Vini came on to the team at the right time. Like you said, we didn’t have many options on the left side and even Hazard underperforming was a blessing in disguise for him and the team. I remember when they were comparing him to Fati. Now we have one of the best players in the world. Right now his biggest flaw is letting his emotions get the best of him during games , he’s easily drawn in to arguments. But he’s no doubt one of if not our best player.

Vinicius story reminds me of Cristiano Ronaldo's beginning in Manchester. Cristiano Ronaldo started at ManUtd when he was 18 just like Vinicius at Real madrid. Craziest talent but endproduct was meh. His first two season where something between absolute genius and pure frustration. His third season was a respectable but still not really satisfying improvement but his fourth season (2006/07) was a complete game changer where he ended second at the Ballon d'or at 22 and competed with or surpassed legends like Ronaldinho, Kaka, Pirlo, Henry and more. In the next season he completely owned world football and he won the Ballon d'or at 23. Will Vinicius is now 22 but might win his first Ballon d'or at 23 way before the more hyped (in some cases even overhyped) players like Felix, Mbappe or Haaland. That would be a great story.

Great video. I remember when he first came to us. Fifa 19 showed him having insane speed and acceleration. I was puzzled cuz he wasnt really showing that to us on the actual pitch. Found out he was a cheat code in fifa, at which point, i realized this boy has insane potential. I looked crazy for over a year. But now, its well known that vini is a got dang legend
