Hi Shawn hope you're well. Great drone footage at the beginning, what a beautiful place and a nice sunny day. For a first attempt at long exposures they turned out great, a variable ND filter is a good starting point to practice long exposures. Great video as always mate looking forward to see more long exposures images. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
Hi Jon. Hope you and Karen are all good mate. Thanks for watching. Will try and get out to do more long exposures. Do need to look at getting different ND filters to be honest. Take care. Shawn
Beautiful place Shawn. Some good test photos for a first try on long exposure 😁 you can try really long exposure (> 5mins) facing clouds to have streaks in the sky too for more motion.
Hi Shawn, loved the video, long exposure can be difficult getting it right. But when it comes out well ,it’s worth it. The iPhone 15 is a great phone for the camera. I was out at night not long ago and I was trying to find a good composition, but it was so dark I had to use long exposure, so I took a test shot on my phone before taking the shot on my camera to see if I was happy with the composition, and it came out just as good as my dslr photo 😅
Hi Keith. Thanks for watching mate. iPhone 15 max pro has really great camera, really impressed with it. Actually thinking about selling my little canon g7x mark 2 as I think the phone has a better system. Take care mate. Shawn.
Hi Shawn, I love Holland on sea, I'm not far from there in Felixstowe and there are a few places here that are great for long exposure, the Groynes being the best one at Cobbolds point. As for filters, you will need a 3 stop, 6 stop and 10 stop, lee filters also do a 15 stop where you can get 15 or 20 minute long exposures making any water look like glass. Enjoyed the video mate and keep practicing long exposure, once you nail it they can look fantastic.
Hi. Thanks for watching I really appreciate that comment. We have a holiday home very close to Holland on sea, I am down there every other weekend. So definitely give them stops a look. Also I definitely need to be looking at different ND filters. Thanks again for looking in. Take care shawn.
