I love how you tell us the prices and show us the item. Plus when you two shop together he isn't running around trying to OUT FIND YOU. Meaning trying to find all the "good stuff first". You two are amazing. Thank you both for sharing your knowledge and knowing what you are buying.
Yes Vera Bradley made Lampshades, if it's still there when you go back grab it they sell for over $50.00 on EBay. I have one that I bought at my Goodwill for $5:00. I am currently looking for a lamp for it.
Today was a wonderful day at a GW I had never been to before - first everything was 25% off and then I must have channeled my inner crazy lamp lady - went with my gut - looked up the pieces when I came home - and was pleasantly surprised - the best is the rare blue plate of the BAMBOROUGH CASTLE, NORTHUMBERLAND - worth about $120 - not bad for a $3 investment! That and my Bombay picture frame bookends - $95 for $3. Also found this cool hand made Poland piece - found tons with the same makers mark but couldn't find that exact piece. Yesterday it was a towle 24% lead crystal centerpiece with eBay solds of $60 - paid $6. You're a great teacher and awesome inspiration!! Blessings!
Omg, I just found a vase at our local thrift store and you just told me the name of it. You’ve done that two or three times for me. I can’t miss my crazy lamp lady, it’s so informative! Thank you (krosno Poland suspended bubble vase)
The Mayflower box is probably Italian. They are Florentine boxes and I think they are from the 60's/70's. I've bought and sold them before on Etsy for around $35. They're usually jewelry or keepsake boxes. Some have music boxes built in. They're usually a quick sale!
That enamelware platter that Andrew tapped and that you said sells for so cheap...I collect all of that colorful enamelware! It is so cheap but is so colorful and useful .it makes me so happy..
The bags of buttons made me laugh so hard! A couple years ago I got a bag of mother of pearl shell buttons for $6 at my goodwill. It weighed a ton and after getting it home, discovered it weighed nearly 8 pounds and contained 5,380 buttons, meticulously organized by size. Great finds today, as always!!
Wow ! You have viewers from Northern Ireland! My Mother was born in Richill County Armaugh, Northern Ireland....what a small world! I'm only from Canada, but I love watching you on You Tube !
Ah, Andrew gave us all a good laugh! That was a good one! 😆 Some nice finds in this one. Loved that stack of Nippon plates! They looked quite vibrant for antiques.
Rats! I loved the green mushroom topped canister! The color is so great. I like collecting all greens for the spring to group around the house. I'd give you 25.00 for that! (plus shipping)
01:12 I can't read it either, but it feels kinda Italian. 02:57 That is a serving fork that's super bent. I bet it could be cold-hammered back to shape, but would you want to waste the effort on it? 03:15 Toffee tin, dollars to doughnuts. 03:37 Nice little wooden ladle, but it must be decorative only. I can't imagine that could hold up to table service. 04:49 It's a trunk-mount car bicycle rack. I had one exactly like it, went on our '95 Mercury wagon. 06:46 It's Allman Brothers Murano, naturally. 😆 11:48 They're sending me a negative vibe; too declassé to be desirable. 17:25 The way she rattles, there are peppercorns still inside her. The decoration feels kinda faux-country-French. 20:56 That'sa crudest bunch of Adam-and-Eve plates I ever saw in my life. Nothing like as nice as the majolica one you found a while back. 22:27 Is that a grating from the same shipwreck?
Oh my gosh, those naked lady plates had me in stitches! I’m thinking the artist had never seen actual naked ladies in his life, boobs generally are not facing west and east ! So funny! 🤦🏼♀️✌🏼❤️
Andrew can ALWAYS make us laugh!! (….I’d…um…lick that plate clean!! 😂) And then, he can turn around and show us something historical that is beautiful and profound and make us all think about our humanity. ♥️
Sure wish our Goodwill had half the things you have. I still find a few great items for my self , my daughter, my daughter in love, my granddaughter, and my two granddaughters in love. I love buying beautiful and useful items that we can use. My granddaughter and two granddaughters in love are just starting to build their homes and can really use kitchen and decorative items. Most of all I love the hunt of finding wonderful items to help them along their way of furnishing their homes on a budget. If I have your Goodwills to shop in I probably would over do it for sure. Thanks for the videos. I always watch but this my first time to text a comment. From deep southeast Mississippi.
That trinket box is moss rose started in inland many years ago and has bean copied by many makers I personally collect it I see you pass it up alot im glad you picked them up
My guess was vintage 70’s maybe and not China but in time frame there still American and European potteries making things like this for gift shops. Read cheap gift shops. Can be fun to collect because affordable but not as easy to find as more expensive stuff that was only used on special occasions.
Such beautiful items today. The beautiful green Nippon plates were a great deal. The pepper mill was very cute💜 The plate comment Hilarious! I lol for real and would have said exactly what you said. So funny. The shipwreck wood was actually beautiful & tastefully done. Wish I was as organized as Andrew for sure. Love your channel as always. 🤩😊
That green of that Belgian bubble top jar was gorgeous....MCM vibe? Curious about your comment that the rubber gasket makes it newer...I thought gaskets and seals were used on canning jars and canisters for decades or longer.
Like the lampshade and purse you looked at....the purse looks like one I had back in the 60s as a teen; my friends and I used to hit the popular import stores for cool items!🏵️
Good luck with the Lenox Lamp. I acquired a brand new one, in the box, after the passing of an elderly neighbor. I tried selling it for $10 at flea markets on several occasions as well as posting on FB Marketplace. I still own it. Button Art is big right now. Glad you purchased the button bag. 😊
Love Love Love your hair! I was looking through odds and ends and remembered I had an old lamp gifted to us from my husbands old aunt before she passed . I have never seen one , ever . I was wondering if you would get back to me so I can show it to you, as I watch you all the time. I would trust your words of knowledge on lamps and glass. Thank you
I found a puzzle box today at my GW. It's got this awesome dragon on it. A little research showed it's from QVC. It's so neat and in perfect condition.
Glad to get my Andrew fix this a.m.!!! I adore you guys!!! Am thinking of trying to drive to PA to meet you in February!!! Could you post again as I forgot to write it down and have no clue which video it was where you mentioned it!!
1.42am Belfast Northern Ireland . Can’t sleep until I get my crazy lamp lady fix. Love your channel.
I need to come and visit you in Belfast and you can come visit us in San Diego. Go thrift thing in both places together.
I know how you feel. I am so addicted to her.🤩
I want to visit Ireland so bad - my ancestors come from County Mayo- Waters

Oh! I loved that green Belgian jar that you put back at Goodwill. Stunning shape and color.
I loved it, too! I'd love to find one of those in the wild, or 2, or 3, lol. I was surprised she didn't grab it:)
Me too!
Yes, and it is vintage. They where very popular in the 70ties. They had rubber in those years Joselin. 😉
I laughed when she said it was probably more contemporary because it had a “rubber casket” on it! 😂
What a scream, ANDREW! I actually LOL. I like the ship wood seat, mmmm, mmmm.
Love how quick Drew is when told not to say anything inappropriate! I laughed out loud and woke my husband!
Andrew makes me smile every time! He is so hilarious. Hence the plate.
L&M is Lipper & Mann VTG hand painted in Japan
Andrew cracks me up! Love it when you two shop together!
Andrew, the man with the plan!! Love it!!

So organized Andrew. People will stop for items but also for the way you display them.
Andrew's case looks very nice and well organized. You compliment each others work.
Like your haircut today. I always enjoy you and Andrew shopping together. Thx
AAAH the Belgium apothecary Jar!! I just sold two of them for good money! Big miss, that one!
Spit out my drink I did. He's priceless.🤣🤣🤣💚
Love your Hair and Laugh!!! Andrew and you make my morning!!! God Bless!!!
Love your hair!

Your hair looks AMAZING!!!
Andrew adds some much needed humor.
Pretty funny!
Love the peach paperwright. Hi from Australia
everytime I see a pepper grinder it reminds me of the Pepper skit from SNL :D
75 pieces of MacKenzie Child??!! OMG…that’s amazing!
Wow ! You have viewers from Northern Ireland! My Mother was born in Richill County Armaugh, Northern Ireland....what a small world! I'm only from Canada, but I love watching you on You Tube !
Andrew's "I'd lick that plate clean" had me rolling 🤣 Your hair is adorable today. Like the peach 🍑 paperweight.
Ah, Andrew gave us all a good laugh! That was a good one! 😆

Thanks for teaching me so much Jocelyn. I have tried watching other people and you and Dagney are my favorites by far!

I think the fork is a meat serving fork!
Oh Andrew! You made me laugh and laugh! I love a good he haw on a Sunday morning! Lol
Oh, gosh, laughed so hard. Andrew did not disappoint with his comment on those Italian plates. 🤣🤣🤣
I totally love how you are able to reach through the shelves! I wish my arms were long enough to do that!😁
I was telling her, "Shame on You, reaching shelf to shelf like that!!" 😂🤣
Oh my gosh, those naked lady plates had me in stitches! I’m thinking the artist had never seen actual naked ladies in his life, boobs generally are not facing west and east ! So funny! 🤦🏼♀️✌🏼❤️
I almost fell over backwards at those plates and the "wild" ones. Please say that doesn't happen when a woman reaches her 70's!!!🤣😂
Same here in Canada! Love to go shopping with you. Helping me save my sanity during Covid!
Andrew is too funny! 😂
Ok, I have tried watching some other thrifters, but they can’t to the joy I get watching your videos. And having Andrew with you is an extra blessing.
Andrew can ALWAYS make us laugh!! (….I’d…um…lick that plate clean!! 😂)
And then, he can turn around and show us something historical that is beautiful and profound and make us all think about our humanity. ♥️
Have you ever heard him sing "Ring My Bell?" Guy is awesome!
@@bobhightower9381 , oh yes!! I love it and never tire of hearing him sing it!! ☺️

The tray you picked up from the GW bin is called Olinala from Mexico. I see painted boxes mostly. I used to collect them but now have too many!
That trinket box is moss rose started in inland many years ago and has bean copied by many makers I personally collect it I see you pass it up alot im glad you picked them up

I think the lamp is so beautiful. I’m amazed it hasn’t sold for just $10. I must be the odd person who loves it
@@dittohead7044 I would pay more than $10 myself and think Jocelyn isn’t going to get rich but has a big enough following to at least break even
Andrew had some quick wit on that plate! Cracked me up. Another great video.
Love Love Love your hair! I was looking through odds and ends and remembered I had an old lamp gifted to us from my husbands old aunt before she passed . I have never seen one , ever . Buttons remind me of a princess house clear glass lamp. Someone said they filled theirs with buttons for the sewing room.
The "hiking apparatus" in the bin looks like a bicycle rack for the back of a car.
Crazy Lamp Lady is absolutely my favorite my day just not complete with the beautiful interresting crazy Lamp Lady!!!!
Calla Lillies are sometimes called Jack in the Pulpit.
Different plants but they are related.
Love your hair
I’ve never found McKenzie-Child’s in goodwill but if I did, I’d grab it all.
The naked ladies plates are amazing. Also the green floral Nippon.
I have that exact tonala vase
loved that huge cement mushroom!
Love the green tray, and quails. He’s fun today
Cute hair, Jocelyn!
Nice curls
I loved my grandma’s button box not sure why but ….
I love my Grandma's button collection as well. It was in a tin.
I found a puzzle box today at my GW. It's got this awesome dragon on it. A little research showed it's from QVC. It's so neat and in perfect condition.

21:29 Andrew😂😂😂😂😂
Andrew with a perfect zingger! LOL!
Starbucks is getting free advertising every time you bring your coffee with you. They should sponsor your channel. ☕️

Good morning sweetie it's Saturday.29th. I love your hair like that and the color is pretty .
75 pieces of MacKenzie Childs?? Be still my heart! Have NEVER found it in the wild
Right? Isn't that amazing??
It may be a pain in the butt with those buttons, but they do look vintage and you could sell them in lots. Great for crafters etc 👏
Would LOVE to go shopping with you! Love your videos, I've learned so much! Thank you! My hubby loves you too. Drew too!!!
" I'd like that plate clean " !!! 🤣😁😂 Humorous & quit witted !! 👍
Way to go Andrew for being organized:-)
That green tray is from michuacan from Mexico.
I alway enjoy your shopping trips.
Those quails retail for 85. And 65 for smaller one , I have them
Cool!!
Andrew cracks me up.
L & M Bondware Lipper and Mann. I have a piece I am about to list. Mine is marked 1955. It took me a while to research them.
I hope you bought those black and white abstract plates. Very interesting. Reminds me of Judaic lore for some reason. The forbidden trees....
I go to Goodwill in my county but there is only two. I never see anything I like. I love all your videos and the stuff you get. Love 💕💕💕
