*Harley Benton* is a really cool name, and I believe that in years to come they will dramatically increase in value.🙏🏽👍
What’s interesting is how the market has gone up on a lot of those Japanese and Mexican made guitars from the 80’s and 90’s… It’s crazy what they’re getting for some Aria Pro guitars now.
Hopefully Harley Benton’s will appreciate in value the same way 🤘🎸

I'm seeing that these range from $270 up to $400. I wonder how much difference there really is. Definitely a fan of that caramel maple neck. And plenty of open space on the body if you wanna throw some graphics on it.
A lot of times, the difference is the pickups… The $400 models have EMG’s while the $270 models have Roswell’s… Normally, I mod these guitars out, but I’ve kept the Roswell’s as they’ve filled a hole in my collection tone wise. They have a good Classic rock distortion sound, so I’ve kept them… Neck is fantastic too!
I love mine. 3 years later many videos made only issue is the bridge pickup wiring on the switch. I need to get a better swich. All good. Only way id let it go is for the strat style. I habe heavy flamed maple roasted fingerboard ..FNt hh
Right on man, I love using my Fusion in videos too because it shows beginners that you don’t have to spend a fortune on a guitar to get a great tone and a pretty awesome guitar… When you consider everything this guitar has, it’s nearly impossible to beat for the price 🤘🎸
I really like this matte daphne blue color and have been spying it online with the Harley Benton Fusion-III HSS Roasted DB (Daphne Blue) version. There is something about matte or satin finishes that makes it pop visually.
Interestingly enough, I had a company called Fesley reach out to me and offered to send me their HSS superstrat in this same color to review… That’s going to be my next video, as the guitar should be here Monday. It’s going to be interesting to see how their guitar stacks up, as it’s only $160 on Amazon with Free Shipping.
That said, I can’t say enough good things about the HB Fusion. It’s literally my number 1 budget guitar that I demoed in 2023. I continually find myself grabbing it off the shelf, even over far more expensive guitars… Cheers to Harley Benton on a winner 🤘🎸
I just noticed something different between the Fusion-III models, at least per the specs on the Harley Benton US Reverb store. For example the Daphne Blue matt model has JN-07 locking staggered ma. For example the Daphne Blue matt HSS Strat model has JN-07 locking staggered machine heads with the HB logo, same as on the 25th Anniversary models. The Ice Blue Gloss HSS Strat model has WSC staggered locking DieCast tuners. I falsely assumed they were all diecast except the 25th Anniversary models. I believe the JN-07 are the better quality tuners correct?

The one thing I'd love to know. How tall are the fret's in inches? Like .045"/ .052"

I do have a way to measure it, but unfortunately I’m in the middle of a move, and all my guitars are in storage… 🤦♂️… I’ll try to remember to measure them and get back here once I get settled…🤘🎸

I ordered a B stock and it came in catastrophic...many issues...
I’ve heard B-Stock is really Hit and Miss… I don’t think they offer a big enough discount to justify the risk of getting a dud, or in your case, something catastrophic…
All I can say is that I ordered a new one and really like the guitar. Only thing it really needs is a fret polish and I think you’d be hard pressed to find a better value…

Uh. The Trem?
Argh yeah man… Sorry about that… I recorded like 10 different demos and cut it down to 4 not realizing I cut the one with the Trem demo… My apologies, live and learn.
Fwiw, the trem is primarily downward, very little room to pull back, it works great though but more like a decked bridge as there’s not much room to pull it back.

I mean, I mean, the demo I recorded in like 4 takes with it and it was still in tune but that’s not much of an example…
So what I’m going to do next week is a more in depth video on the Tremolo system for this guitar. I can tell you that I’ve put a lot of time on this guitar (without the trem) and it holds tune very well, but I’ll need to put some time on it with the trem bar on to give you a better answer… I’m not much of a trem guy to be honest and rarely use it, so I’m no expert, but I’ll try to put something together to give you and anyone wondering a better idea of the quality
FYI I went ahead and made a quick separate video on the trem system since I left it out…

What a waste of time! Demo??? to see what it sounds like? Immediately plugs into a load of distortion pedals!!! I'd have prefered to hear the sound of the guitar NOT the distortion pedals/effects!!

The pickups don't sound good to me :/
I think I mentioned it in the video, but they’re kinda niche, and I can see why some don’t like them. I like them for a classic rock/hard rock tone, outside of that, they’re very one dimensional
