I am originally born as an Arabic muslim but when i hear the new revert stories i learn something new and at the sametime feel that i am a bad muslim, their new perspective to Islam is totally different for me like for example: "I do my best before every pray, maybe i die" for me i never thought about it, To me the time betwen every pray is the same without thinking to do my best.., I ask Allah his guidance to all muslims, Ameen. الحمد لله على نعمة الإسلام.

I got really emotional when he said that he especially likes that we pray five days because I know so many people who were born into Islam who have a hard time getting all their prayers in or just don't pray at all

What a great, great, great reminder from Brother Daniel - "I remind myself that I could die (anytime) so I want to do my best before I meet Allah". I've been struggling with completing my prayers on time since our lockdown ended and I've gone back to work - because I feel so exhausted after. Some days I miss my prayers, some days I get to pray 3/5 prayers, it's been getting quite inconsistent. But your words are right. It's strike me when Daniel said that he wanted to always do good at his best capasity before next prayer because he can die anytime. Although I heard this reminder many times, but hearing this from 3-months old reverted muslim definitely give a different impact. Alhamdulillaah.. aku bersyukur banget nemuin channel Daud Kim. Merasa selama ini belum cukup bersyukur udah terlahir sebagai muslim apalagi dengan semua kemudahan beribadah di Indonesia. I personally think that 5 times prayers really make us humble and help lift up my burden. The thought of I'm not alone in this world kept me believe that better days will eventually come despite the hardships that I face that day.

What a great, great, great reminder from Brother Daniel - "I remind myself that I could die (anytime) so I want to do my best before I meet Allah". I've been struggling with completing my prayers on time since our lockdown ended and I've gone back to work - because I feel so exhausted after. Some days I miss my prayers, some days I get to pray 3/5 prayers, it's been getting quite inconsistent. But your words are right.
