The camera shots, soundtrack, all that surgical tubing.... Wishing I could live inside that guitar and eat spaghetti all day while listening to those dope Gutierrez beats.🤗

I've done 4-5 neck repairs identical to this in the last 2 months on a batch of brand new Rogue guitars. I'm pleased to see that your method of doing this repair is the same as mine, right down to the surgical tubing. I wasn't sure if my approach was the best possible method or not. I feel more assured after watching your video.

The song that starts at the 10 minute mark is just brilliant, I really like it. ❤

Nice! Really enjoy your channel and the Yoga Studio music you play. I'm always inspired my your meticulous work and narrative.

The one good thing I can say for my experience with Recording King guitars is that they SOUND really good for what they cost. It's a total lie that you're saving any money, though, unless you know how to do all the set-up work yourself. By the time your average person has payed someone to do a proper setup on a RK guitar, they're going to end up spending just as much as they would have for a guitar that came off the shelf with a halfway decent setup. My Dirty 30's RK plays great, but for what I'd charge for the work I had to put in to make that happen, someone might just as well spend that money upfront & walk out of the store with a playable instrument.

While music isn’t necessarily about location, part of Austin to me is knowing people here into electronic music and having been introduced to groups like Mogwai, Venetian Snares and Postal Service. Excellent repair but what stuck with me is the music throughout and that it embodies an underground vibe that Austin seems to radiate.

And here I was thinking you'd slap some fiberglass patch on it -- I guess it's not always about technology, but a least you got some computer controlled cutting in there!

Very nice work... I just don't care much for those models sound much (the laminated ones). Cool guitars too take camping though. The RD-328 (solid rosewood) and RD-318 (solid mahogany) are exceptional guitars. I have the RD-328 and love it. Very nice fix on the guitar..

Thanks for sharing your right to free speech, so… the ‘sound’ is more important than enjoying fiddling the snares

So you didn't show the blocks u made with the guitar keys, and pulling that stuff back together from the inside out. Skipped it cuz that's probably the most difficult part😅

Seems like a lot of work on a $200 dollar guitar. Composit bridge and fingerboard, white wood back and sides. I have one, they're very good for the price. And they have a solid top! Is it for practice? Edit: just saw the nut slot at 4.43 , looks like it was routed very deep into the neck, creating a stress riser under the fingerboard that prolly caused the crack.

I assume it's practice, learning, and making TH-cam content. I would watch Mark do any guitar task lol

@@thenerktwins Yes, exactly, as he says in the title that this was his first hole repair. This is the perfect type of guitar to learn with. It turned out very nice.

I’ve seen this body repair done with Ramine noodles and superglue, 🫤. This was much better, nice job! A small tip, getting glue all the way down into the neck crack is important and the syringe seem to work pretty well but it’s common to thin the glue slightly with water to help it creep into the very bottom of the crack and if compressed air is available you can blow some air behind it as well.
