205 is later transit/2wd Cossie block. Not as strong as a 200 but nowhere near as heavy! Perfect for an NA pinto.
The carb is a 38dgas. Was fitted (I think) to 3l Essex v6. Used as an upgrade on pintos because the chokes are bigger and the butterflies are geared so open together.

It does look doable, apparently the engine has been fully reconditioned and gasflowed etc with little to no use

No. The Striker sold much better on improved looks. I'm sure something could be done with this though ..

@@carfarmsocial yep, for all its repulsive ugliness, it's definitely worth restoring. My suggestion would be to paint it in Gulf Oil colours. In fact, I beg you to paint it in Gulf Oil colours and livery. The before and after pictures would be amazing.

@@BigDuke6ixx yes we have a restomod triumph gt6 regularly visiting our gatherings in Gulf colours. Looks fantastic
