Los Lonely Boys are 3 brothers from San Angelo, Texas. Henry Garza on guitar and lead vocals, Jojo Garza on bass guitar and vocals, and Ringo Garza on drums and vocals. I have seen them numerous times, especially when I was living in Texas. I also have a lot of their concerts recorded live on cds. They won a Grammy Award for this song. Sadly, Henry wrote this song to help deal with the death of his infant son, due to sudden crib death.
These 3 Texas brothers are awesome. I saw them live here at the California State Fair several years ago and they blew the roof off. They call themselves tex-mex. They have several studio and live albums. Keep rocking y'all
Now I may only know a handful of their songs but these 3 brothers have been going for about 20 years now, and I've actually only ever heard praise from anyone who knows more about them. This song dropped when I was in junior high and it was a huge hit
Heart Won't Tell a Lie, My Way, Onda, Crazy Dream, or anything of them LIVE is some of their best stuff IMO, really shows off their TALENT! Happy Belated Birthday LuLu! My bday is June 4th! SUBSCRIBED
Just wanted to mention this because of the similar band name . Los Lobos , a popular Tex-Mex-Blues Rock band that became very popular in the 80's for a minute with the song "La Bamba" which they recorded for the Richie Valens "story" / movie of the same name . The Video for Los Lobos version of "La Bamba" was a very popular MTV video that was out to promote the movie . Lou Diamond Philips starred as Richie Valens , it was his 1st "Big Break" Hollywood movie . If you have ever seen the popular Kevin Costner movie "Bull Durham" , Los Lobos song "I Got Loaded" was used as the background music when Crash Davis tells the youngin's on the team who wanted to avoid playing the next day , "I can get us a Rain-out ." and flooded the field by breaking into the team they were playing stadium and then turning on all the fields water sprinklers over night to ruin the field 🙂
Never heard this version before! Sounds bigger and deeper, and i guess "the original?" Is brighter and tighter in production. Still a catchy tune all the same :)
3 brothers lead guitar and bass guitar play switch spots live play same tim behind back upside down behind head they are incredibly talented have live DVD when this was hit whole show wow lead guitar influenced by the man SRV Stevie Ray Vaughn
You would love their acoustic version of this song. They perform it in someone’s house and it sounds awesome!! Check it out. 😊 th-cam.com/video/ZBkwPYq4nhQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GYL2mWf3BoUUtvur
