i started this show with zero expectations and somehow found myself already having favorites that i'm rooting for ahaha
I enjoyed watching the first two episodes more than I thought I would 🤭 It was really fun to watch.

This episode made me realize that large muscle dudes can also make sudden bursts of speed. Like a charging hippo

Since I’ve been reading Korean Manwha I’ve gotten so interested in the Korean Culture. This show is amazing
This and the match up between the dancer and fit farmer were great show cases for size mismatches where the smaller man won. Both employed different strategies though because of how much bigger their opponent was compared to them and it was amazing to watch them pull it off.
Also, that Agent H..so disappointed to see an elite special force lose to a bodybuilder 1v1

The differences are Koreans and Japanese are too respectful with each other. Gym rats from the US, there will be fights in no time!

US is too out of control for a show like this. There’d be fights every episode and I don’t think the star power would be there like it Is here
The US would try to amp up the drama way too much. Asian countries have athletes who generally are respectful and polite even in these types of competitions. Also some US national athletes have huge egos and likely won't compete without being paid big money, whereas many gold medalists and top national athletes are on this show. It won't have the same appeal if they don't get top athletes.

For Season 3, if they bring back this challenge, I think something that would make it more interesting is to make it so rather than simply having possession of the ball, you have to take the ball to a certain spot in an open space and whoever has it there at the end of time would win. It'd have to be a fairly small area, maybe only 2x the the size of the ball itself in area.
This would make it so you can't just get on top of the ball and turtle up. In order to get back into it, you'd need to at least somewhat loosen your grip on the ball which would give even a smaller opponent a chance to get it. Also, if you absolutely can't get the ball away from your opponent, you'd still able to wrestle the opponent out of the zone which would create a more dynamic contest.

It's really good, intense, and physical 😬.
The lean guy could have won this more easily if he had been able to grab the ball in the beginning. He could easily out run his opponent and tire him out while running around the obstacles. That was likely his plan and why he picked the big guy as his opponent in the first place. I still had my money on him for winning this though, despite failing in his plan. The big guy has bigger arms, but the lean is no push over either and has overall the better, more balanced physic.
Agreed. The lean guy is a much better overall athlete. The bigger guy only works on his ability to do a few heavy lifts in the gym while the leaner guy works on his overall physique including aerobic conditioning and core strength. The bigger guy was carrying allot of extra fat probably due to his lack of aerobic training
Big guy did pretty well considering he was chosen by the other guy on purpose to highlight his weaknesses. Cool match tho
He did say that was his plan, but he failed so he had to win by wrestling, which was more satisfying to him.
Yeah whatever, in a real fight the small guys would get crushed, they have no weight class fights in Russia alot and the big guy wins 9/10

Saw the very first episode today. Out of all the people participating there's only one alpha male in the whole group. He didn't say nothing when he walked in. Came in like a boss with a green suit on and some shades like he owned the place. Pure confidence in himself and the energy of aplfa brought everyone over to shake his hand. Thats an alpha male despite if you win or lose..That dude gets the respect he deserves. That's the badest dude in the group.

@@frek175 Yeah but there's no regulations on it and I don't think anyone expects there to be. Like the guy in this video has all the signs of steroid usage, look how big his shoulders and traps are. The two biggest androgen receptors in the body. Like they're practically bulging out of his upper body. Not many Koreans have "insane" muscle building genetics. So pretty safe to assume a lot are using something even if they don't look like they are.
