    Great review and I agree! I have been using it for almost four months now. I average 140 download speeds and 40 upload speeds, and the signal has been very reliable, even during storms and heavy rain. I live in a small town of 2700 located in the mountains of Arkansas, so we are very rural. My only option for internet here is dsl through my local telephone company, which gives speeds of 10 download and 1 upload. So, T Mobile Internet is great for me!

    I’m liking it so far. I have 4 bars here in my area and my download/upload mbps speeds are 500-600 and around 110. Very good and fast connection. As far as gaming goes I’m still testing it out. But it seems okay. I’ve only had this internet for about a week. So far so good.

    I have a 5G tower at the end of my street. It's not perfect like some people are reporting, I'm getting a bit over 200 down, 20-30 up, but for the price and consistency I dropped my cable internet that was about $115 a month. I also ran a TP Link WiFi mesh system throughout the house off of it and it's been working flawless for streaming, surfing, downloading, and most of all gaming.

  • @SPRest03

    In my area, it didn’t work well at all. I work from home so I need stable internet. I had it for about 8 days before I had no choice but to return it. It was in and out everyday - sometimes for 20 mins - sometimes longer. It was slow and would knock me offline with my work computers. During the small amount of time I had it, I ended up calling support several times a day and restarting the system. I returned it and went back to xfinity. Price is about the same .I still have T-Mobile for my phones. I may try it again in the future after they make improvements. Hated that I had to return it because I really like T-Mobile.

    I won't get my router until September but I am locked in at 50 per month for life. They are also throwing in a free Tmobile hub. I am so excited! I am also very excited to know that I can still get internet when the power goes out, considering that I am in New Orleans.

    • @Timzart7
      @Timzart7 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      GI gave an excellent review, but the battery functions only as a backup of your configuration data for the device and so you can move it around without it being plugged in and see the signal strength on top. The battery does not power the unit during a power failure. You could plug it into a portable power supply, like a Jackery, if you want it to work during a power failure or where there is no power.

    • @1auntievenom
      @1auntievenom 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Timzart7 right, this is what I suspected. As long as the tower is up, there should be internet. I don't loose cell signal, so, I wouldn't loose internet. Every time inloose power here though, it will come on hours or days before my cox internet is reactivated. A bluetti has been on my to do list for a while!

  • @rondonze5285
    @rondonze5285 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Since many devices only use 2.4G connections (tablets, TVs etc) why not talk about those speeds. When I tried the Arc gateway, the 2.4G speeds were slow. About 13Mbps without using any external antennas to boost my "good" signal level. I guess too much tree interference since I'm no more than 1 half mile from the tower. Secondly, the 5G wifi signal goes nowhere in the house. 20 feet away with one wall and that's too much for it. Logistics of having the router near a window but everything else in the house unable to connect to it doesn't do much good. I had to return mine.
