Man I have almost a complete Sweet Valley High Collection and I have never seen a 5 year anniversary edition!! Such a great find! I will without a doubt read a sweet dreams book with you!! I have a handful but not nearly as many as you haha! Such a great haul!! 👏🏼
Wow, such an epic haul! I'm especially intrigued by Don't Call Me Sugar Baby, as a type 1 diabetic. For removing ink from book covers, a trick I've always used is a light dab of nail polish remover on a cotton ball. (Very random, I know, but hey, if it works, it works, haha.)
Amazing book haul so many fun covers. Some of those YA romance series I've never heard of but they look like fun short reads. The SVH and Buffy books are some of my favorites.
Obsessed with your dress-it's fabulous! 👗Phyllis Naylor is always a good find. I think she's best known for the Alice series but the Witch series is really cute, too 🐈⬛ Rubbing alcohol and Q-tips have always worked for me for getting pen marks off of paperbacks 🌟LOVE the SVH haul!! So exciting to find them out in the wild. I wouldn't have been able to speak either lol😍Lurlene McDaniel stories are wild. All angst and drama. They were totally my jam back in the day📙My teacher read us The Pigman after recess every day and I definitely remember liking it.🐖 Wow, Canaby Hall and Mandie are taking me way back back! Fantastic haul!!👏
@@culturalcobwebs 🥰 thank you darling, this dress is super comfy. It’s by a company called katakomb. I’m always wary with alcohol, I’ve had it rub off part of the image but I’ll give it a try again. I was so excited about these books. Had to dip into my Halloween savings to get them but I think it was worth it
There was a series I use to love back in the 90s but forgot the name of it & have been hoping you’d pick one up to jog my memory. It was the Sugar & Spice series !!! That has been bugging the hell out of me for so long hahaha. I knew your vintage halls would remind me, thank you 😆
What a fantastic haul! I gasped loudly when you held up The Season of Passage - I have been dying to find this one out in the wild but no luck yet, it was my favourite book when I was a kid and would enjoy a re-read, you're such a lucky book finder!!!
@@BookishNookish well if it’s something you’re looking for, (seasons of passage) then shoot me your address and I’ll send it to you. My email is at the bottom of the description box or DM me on Instagram ❤️

Buffy! I'm so glad ypu found a vintage pulp gothic. I've never heard of that one, but it looks good. Teacher Crush, lol. Kiss Me, Creep 😂 I'm glad you had a great family day! Yay sprints!
@@edlewisnoctreviews I never see those old gothic paperbacks around, I was so excited to finally get one. I want to read it sometime fairly soon. I miss my Sunday morning crew. Can’t wait for sprints
The brown/tan cover Buffy books were all my library had back in the day lol I must have read the same couple books 25 times until I realized I could use the computer to order more in🤣 A really cool fact about the Indiana Jones Choose Your Own Adventure books is that R.L. Stine wrote #1 the Curse of Horror Island (or just lent his name to a ghostwriter lol)
Very cool haul, Elizabeth! You seemed very excited for this one lol! I didn’t realize that Christopher Pike wrote for THAT “Cheerleader” series. It says that he wrote 1 or 2 of em on his Wikipedia page but I just automatically imagined that it was some obscure horror series lol. I just couldn’t fathom that he wrote for THAT specific “Cheerleader” series. 😂

Mr. Clean magic eraser is my go-to for ink on covers. Hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol usually works too
@@amanda_c. I’ll have to try magic eraser, in my experience, sometimes the rubbing alcohol can fade the image, (in my experience anyway)
