- The car is finally getting worked on! Way less than the previous shop. i went into town and checked out a few museums. So worth checking out. Plus, I finally stopped at one of the places on on my eatery list! (if that makes sense) Trejos Tacos! Booooy was it worth it! so good!

Throughly loved this Video. Haven’t been to La Brea tar pits in years. That was so fun to see. And the Academy Museum. Going to have to make a trip to see it. This was a cool Vlog of the tar pit museum. You did a really good job with it and really interesting all the things found in those pits from millions of years ago, some of the creatures then were giant monsters man!!

I enjoyed this video a lot Eldon. The stuff you talked about in the beginning about the car was very helpful. Big difference between 2k and 800 bucks. I was hoping you would go to the La Brea Tar pits that place was very interesting. The other museum wish you had more time so many things to see. The food at Tejos Tacos looked very good. I actually liked seeing this long video. Can't wait for tomorrow's video.

In the future, you might consider taking the Amtrak coast starlight to LA. Then transfer to the Pacific Surfliner to Anaheim. A short Uber ride to a hotel near Disneyland. My husband and I did that last February. It's a scenic trip and will save more mileage on your car. I love Amtrak and I bet you will too! Especially if you get a roomette - includes meals!

I would really get in touch with Toyota corporate an alternator should not go out at 65,000 it is clearly a faulty part. I am in the automotive field that I see this all the time even if you are 5000 past your factory warranty, they will at least work with you if they can’t cover it completely. They will at least have you just pay for parts or something like that and you’re getting it done at the dealership it’s a brand new car.
I'm really hoping there is some kind of recall eventually... unfortunately Toyota won't do anything until then.
