Ram trucks of the last 15 years are actually pretty decent. Reliable axles, zf 8 speed, hemi, good interior. The biggest hemi flaws are the same as LS which is exhaust manifold studs breaking and cam chewing up from the DOD, but I’ve had a few and they treated me well. The newer 5th gens produced by Stellantis have nice interiors, but it’s an all new platform as of 2019 so they had some recalls. Still far less than Ford as of late lol. The later 4th gen Ram is where it’s at if you were to get one. The 4th gen ran from 2009-2024 as the "classic" along side the 5th gen from '19 - current, but it was face lifted in 2013. Ram didn't call it a 5th gen like silly Ford would have though from the face lift hah. They didn't actually move on to gen 5 until the total redesign in 2019. Of course, Coyote will always be better for making power out the box so I'd always chose that in a race application. Would be sick to see a modernized Mustang put out by Ford but we know that won't happen sadly.
Considering the golgen rule is "dont buy first year models"... Isnt ford shooting themselves in the foot by making the ECU/programming one year only cases?
Short answer, you can't tune a BMW. You have to send your ecu to be cloned and then you can have it tuned. Not sure if they clone older version ecus that used to be tuneable or what. But that's the process
A modern interpretation of the foxbody, being tuneable would easily hit multiple 6 figure sells, especially if they got creative with performance packages and unique color options. Question would be do they stick to modern s550 style IRS or do they go to a new stout live axle rear end?
Remember fox body Mustang almost gave us Ford Probe as its replacement because sales had dropped off. SN-95 was better car than foxbody but it was modified fox body chassis. Then how many Hellcats have been wrecked with under 5k miles on them. I guess they're easy to steal too also why so many are wreaked. Remember seeing many of them on IAA website
I have a 67 and yeah. It’s the worst front suspension in history, with leafs in the back. Also my head is in the headliner. I always say if something happens to it I’m going gen 2. Not doing another classic unless I somehow come into an absurd amount of money.
All the foxbody fan girls got mad at me when i said "until i see a before and after weigh in with yhe roadster shop chassis, im going to doubt their claim that its lighter than stock". Although, for $15.5k before its installed and painted, i think ill stay with the factory style suspension and add SFCs.
They put all of their eggs into one thing and it was the EV charger, which is literally failing bad right now I’ve been hearing that when they get to the dealer those charger EV’s were essentially bricks and now they have to replace an entire battery for those cars so yeah, I sucking pretty bad
Why is it hard to find lifters for hellcats? Because every single fucking hemi with MDS is shitting THEIR lifters, and instead of going back in with gonna-fail-again lifters.........people are deleting the MDS using hellcat lifters. For the same reason, you can't get a non-MDS 6.4 cam. EDIT: Oh, and unlike an LS, the heads have to come off a hemi to get the lifters out so then, bam...head gasket shortage too.
Dude do you ever stop with the slick comments?..one day I'm going to see you and I'm going to ask you to your face wtf you mean when you make these little slick comments either you have a problem or you're pandering, either way I gotta know
Listening back to videos while working. Tropical yellow is by far my favorite weird fox color
Missed the chat again, but I followed your advice and ordered a 2.3 Roush blower for my 2012 GT.
Directly from Roush? How much did that cost you?
Another great video
The foxbody gangster lean was hilarious people literally have forums about it and how to fix it 🤣🤣

You got me on the 80s talk. Days of cheap fast fun
85 and 86 that the 4 eyes non-honey comb. Best looking years IMO. 85 carb and 86 EFI speed density. I had an 86 and my cousin had an 85.

Grew up in foxbody era. Learned stick on moms 92.gt. now I have an 84 GT and a 83 ltd wagon. Thankfully still have all my teeth.

If y’all want a modern fox we need to get rid of CAFE standards which are forcing these overweight big cars to meet fuel consumption requirements
Not only a shortage but the part prices have been 2X in price on the hemi
My dad currently has his 87 on a rotisserie rn lmaoooo coyote swap, s550 complete interior.
2.3 blowers price going up due to tio’s advice
I don't understand how the head gaskets would be any different as the block and head design is the same. Only thing would be material and thickness

Alex I have. 1970 Torino & 89 Mustang should I sell both to get me a coyote?
There was a 12-month wait for a gen 3 short block when Ford was on strike
@@moeslide897 Jake at pbh made a killing as he stocked up

I only want it if it looks more like the Capri RS
A gt350 hybrid is my dream manual, or I'll even take a dct.
