Robert!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 I felt the weight of the backpack!! Amazing drone footage as always! Thanks for sharing this. This is the one of the most wonderful place of the dolomites. I love it!
Hi Alex, there is no reservation need it, but indeed it is a mountain shelter for emergencies. This particular one is quite popular, so I would advise to go during the week and maybe not at the highest season.
Awesome! But a question: part of the route you guys did belaying with your own material. Was that optional or necessary? I thought the via ferrata alone was enough to get to the bivacco Being not a mountaineer, I can do via ferrata but have to give the more advanced stuff a pass...
Hi, we climbed off season, the via ferrata route was under deep snow and it was more dangerous to follow that path, so found an other part where we belayed down back to the via ferrata. But indeed the via ferrata ivano dibona goes all the way to the bivacco. In case you do it off season as well I would recommend to try it clockwise, usually lot less snow there. But extra rope is always recommended off season. Stay safe
hi sir, this is great vid and me and my friend are planning to go this mid sep,i have done some reasearch the route is not technically difficult but with some section no cable, how do you feel walking along this?and do we have to book the refuge?
Hi, the path is not difficult at all but it is long. There are sections with no cable indeed, but they are not that hard just make sure you are sure footed and pay attention what you are doing. You do not need to book the Bivacco, it is free to use by everyone. Of course you might end up sharing it with other people. It can fit 6 people on the beds but there is also plenty of floor place to sleep in case it is crowded. Make sure you carry you own matras and sleeping bag. There is none in the hut. Going on week days will be less busy.
hi sir, just come back and have some questions,do you remember how long does it takes you to hike from the top of the cable car(Son Forca hut) to the Bivacco?
Thank you for showing us! I could never!
Exelente video.

Какая красота!!!
It's fascinating to see how World War history has been repurposed into something beautiful like Buffa di Perrero Bivacco
The views must have been breathtaking along the way Wish I could experience it in person
Hiking along a steep slope sounds challenging but exciting at the same time
The trail from Parcheggio Rio Gere/Faloria to Rifugio Son Forca must have been such a scenic hike
best video ! a lot of inspiration for me and i can wait to go there!
Thank you, can’t wait to hear about your experience 🏔️
Amazing! ❤
The snow-covered via ferrata adds an extra level of difficulty Proper gear and experience are a must for this adventure

Whoah 😮😮😮😮
Hi Robert,
Tell me please, is there any reservation needed or pickup the key? Or is it just open mountain house for emergency needs?
