Meanwhile, I , on behalf of Buddhists of South Asia and elsewhere I make this humble request to you to works toward adopting a special visa provision for those people who wish to Visit Bhutan for pilgrimage. Currently except for Indian citizens Buddhists from other countries can only make their pilgrimage to Bhutan with a tourist visa which is very expensive and only a handful of rich Buddhists are able afford. As a one of the few Buddhists nation of the world please be compassionate to your fellow Buddhists! Thank you.
India's not military occupation on Bhutan. Bhutan governace wants to deploy indian armed forces in Bhutan China border. Because Bhutan is not capable to counter Chinese aggression.

When Bhutan call for withdrawal unlike Bangladesh in 1971 we Indian military will end this treaty and left Bhutan !!
Pema, you should be proud. A country that invests so much in the happiness quotient and is carbon negative is a fine example to other countries on development sans destruction of our planet. There were several Bhutanese students in boarding schools on the Darjeeling hills during my school days in the late sixties-early seventies. They were all lovely people. India , The great, still sticked to its 1947 ideology of mutual respect and mutual growth. If it were China, definately all the small neighbouring countries would have ceased be a country. That's the beauty of India. And India's neighbours must not take it for granted as it'll only ruin peace and prosperity. India stands for mutual respect, mutual growth and non interference in internal issues of the country.
