I would just want to say something to this Ravi story... King David in the bible actually killed someone and took his wife. Did that mean David was not a God fearing person or dint love God. Ravi sinned like every other man. His image could be tempered with but his works for Christ should not be affected. Now everybody judging him for a sin he may hv tried to cover, which most people do but since they are not in a position of leadership, they get exposed. The guy was a human before being a spiritual leader. Many believers in the bible have done worst attrocities, but i dint see their names being removed anywhere.
There is absolutely zero correlation between King David and Ravi Zacharias. When David was confronted with his sin with Bathsheba by Nathan the prophet, he fell on his face in repentance. Read Psalm 51 and see David's response. When Ravi was confronted with allegations, he responded with rage, denial, and a how-dare-you attitude. He died without repenting. Public sins by public people call for public repentance. He didn't repent either publicly or privately as far as anyone can tell. If he had repented to his wife, surely she would not still be defending his innocence as she so recently has in an email to friends and family that went public. He actively hid his sin and spent the last several years actively planning when he could sin again as evidenced by his purchase of two apartments in Thailand (with ministry funds btw) - one for himself and one for a massage therapist. I could go on. My point is that it is biblically irresponsible to compare Ravi to David and adopt an oh-well-we-all-sin attitude. Ravi Zacharias was a sexual predator. Christian leaders have a responsibility to call out sin when that someone claims to be a Christian and when that someone is a teacher and preacher. That is a biblical response. As Mr. Gilman says in the video, if that had been done when Lori Anne Thompson came forward, Ravi would have had fewer victims. Every Christian should be interested in protecting women from sexual predators. What good does it do to tell someone the gospel but not care if they are being raped and molested? I recommend that you read the full Miller and Martin report. Ravi was engaging in sexual sin right up until when he got sick. Ravi's sins are real, they are egregious, and they have produced scores of victims. If for no other reason, we owe it to them to speak out against his wickedness.
I think it’s about time it’s done people want to show rather than get the word of God out and it’s becoming a real problem. But of course you can explain it to the Lord when you see him what’s more important to you the word of God are constantly going over the same thing over and over. It’s one thing to make something no it’s a non-Nother thing to keep rehashing it should’ve never been. Let’s pray about these things

King David allowed others to question him and expose his sin, Ravi did not. All the reports from RZIM employees show that Ravi did not all anyone to question him or hold him accountable. Reports show that Ravi was not even a member of a local church. If you look deeply into the Ravi story, you will see a man who led a double life. When he was alive, he was caught lying about his academic credentials..... lies that he went to Cambridge, lies that he taught at Oxford, lies that he had earned multiple PHD's, and lies that he was chairman of a seminary department. All lies were brought to light, and Ravi choose to put a Public Relations spin on the issue and never repented. An adulterous scandal with a married woman (Lori Ann Thompson) was brought to light when Ravi was alive. He denied the allegations and choose to sue Lori Ann Thompson, excusing her of extortion. To my knowledge almost all of Ravi's RZIM employees have acknowledged his guilt. I am a sinner myself, but I plainly see that Ravi was a man unfit for Christian leadership. He appears to be a man who was most concerned about his reputation, not about becoming more like Jesus. King David was more concerned about pleasing God, not men.
RZIM provided the opportunity and means for a man to operate on his own, unquestioned by employees, and not in fellowship at a church, and accountable and answerable to church elders as the Scripture requires of those who believe in Jesus Christ. Ravi basically became a "lone ranger" preacher, and they are viewed with concern and caution for just the reasons we see coming to light.
Can I ask why are you people bringing up the pass. Ravi have already been exposed. Let it go and move on. And leave God to be the judge. No one is perfect in the sight of God. Why not touch on this subject. Explain why RZIM gave 90 days to Margie to move out. Are you forgetting without Ravi RZIM will not be so financial well off. What happen to the agreement for her to stay on even after Mr Ravi pass away.
They are speaking to the organizational culture which made this possible. It's like a post mortem. I think it is healthy. Ravi Zacharias sad and hypocritical life is a reminder to all in ministry. It is possible to be effective and win many, yet in the end, hear the words of our Lord say, "Depart from me, l never knew you."
This should be a wake up call for Christians everywhere; put your trust in Christ only and the Bible! NOT man! What is SO sad is the damage that this has done to the body of Christ and to those unbelievers/atheist who deny the Trinity and Salvation...this behavior only fuels their anti-Christian ideology. Ravi’s wife is not the only wife who has been in denial of their husband’s activity outside of their bond of marriage. If she indeed did not know of his behavior before his death, she is either stupid or was in denial...then and now! Behavior does not change!!! And for all of those who quote the “judge not lest he be judged” as usual taken out of context..which reminds me of apostate “pastors” ...a verse out context can mean anything I want to convey!!!
I experienced questionable pastors. The reports change nothing concerning the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ. The rise or ‘fall’ of anyone does not alter the Gospel. “Jesus Christ the Same Yesterday to-day and For Ever.” “I am the Lord I change not” “Because he (God) hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.”

It's just ALL allegations. There have been pretty good handy recording devices for the last 20 years. If there are all of these sexual interactions, then there should be 100s of recordings with just voice or voice and video of Ravi in these alleged sexual interactions. Everyone records almost everything and they would certainly be recording it with Ravi. Where are all the recordings? They are nowhere because no one had any reason to film and record Ravi because nothing was going on.
Lol that’s quite a string of assumptions you make. Recording people like you think should have been going on is illegal. And victims are usually very concerned about being found and discovered. For their own protection they would not illegally recorded the events.
All I care about is How do I get the same hall pass as Ravi Zacharias If Ravi can do all of this and get away with it you have no right to judge me I am going to do whatever I want I only have to answer to myself When I die I will go to heaven just like Ravi and God will welcome me with open arms He's going to say Well done player You lived your best possible life Yeah baby
I agree with protecting those that are abused. But I am confused with Lori Ann. This women, an adult not a child or a teen, pursued Ravi. She was never threatened or held against her will. If Ravi is guilty why did Lori Ann play along with this relationship and play the second women role. Why didn't Lori Ann respect Margi Zacharias and the family. Why did these women walk away! Why did they play along. Women are not customs unless they are being held against their will or threatened in some way. Why don't we also ask why she, Lori Ann, responded and continued the relationship. I hope you stay close to Lori Ann because she might put herself in another dangerous position. It appears as though there are no guarantees what she might be up to next or who she will be chasing after next!
My point in saying this is because the lady already had a family which should have made her more protective. Yes, she sought out help. After realizing that the person she was seeking help with was asking for unhealthy requests she should have discontinued the friendship! Spoken up about these unhealthy requests instead of fulfilling these unhealthy requests. I have felt people trying to groom me, but I quietly walked away and never saw them again! I did not let Satan have a for hold of me when. These were People that came off as being honest and clean. Just looking at it from a parent perspective, After having a family it should make people realize that if someone you trust asks you to do something that doesn't sound right, then I think think think what would I recommend my child if someone requested that of them!
@@love2learnvy68 Lori Anne had already experienced abuse in her past which made her extremely vulnerable to being abused again - especially by someone as respected as Ravi Zacharias. It is about the powerful vs. the powerless. A truly disgraceful assault on a man who is dead and cannot defend himself. A man who could if confronted when alive but this never happened for feigned reasons like "RZIM culture of silence". What a hypocritical expression to dodge the real question. Why did you not confront him when he was alive?
Ravi was confronted beginning in 2017 on the Lori Thompson case. He denied and misled his board.
Duh...that's what the video is about.
How can deaf people lip read? What's the matter with you

I can’t believe you did this video with masks on. Ridiculous.
How would we know what those people are even actually saying?
I was at RZIM and this is just so dishonest full of plain lies!
Yes, Ravi was adored and respected for his work for Christ for decades but you could always speak with people and speak your mind about anyone (and I know this because I did).
I was being praised by my tutors because I was questioning and asking questions and narratives.
But you don’t need enemies when these are your fellow ‘Christian brothers & sisters’!
Can't ( won't) watch ridiculous use of masks.
Yes it's pathetic
Nobody thought to ask Ravi about spending 6-8 months in Bangkok to write a “ Christian book “?
He could have gone to Vermont
Why is that your business anyway?
@@pennyparson4908 Public ministry is our business. That person is questioning accountability. They should have told him not to go there. His apartment was in the porn district
@@kate60 ‘Instead of giving them a simple yes or no answer, Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. Why was he looking down on the ground? What was he writing? Then Jesus stood up and said "Let the one among you who is without sin cast the first stone! ‘" (John 8 verses 6-7)
Instead of pointing fingers with speculation of the purpose of his visits to such places maybe his reason was merely to help the lost. We do not know Ravi’s intentions

Yup
I would just want to say something to this Ravi story...
King David in the bible actually killed someone and took his wife. Did that mean David was not a God fearing person or dint love God. Ravi sinned like every other man. His image could be tempered with but his works for Christ should not be affected. Now everybody judging him for a sin he may hv tried to cover, which most people do but since they are not in a position of leadership, they get exposed. The guy was a human before being a spiritual leader. Many believers in the bible have done worst attrocities, but i dint see their names being removed anywhere.
I also agree.
But David repented; Ravi never did.
@@KarisParadiseVintage I should have read on; you said this better than I did.
David confessed and was truly repentive also he was chastened by the Lord Please go back and read David's story again
His slow painful death is testimony that God is not asleep. When Ravi attempted to enter heaven he heard - “ l never knew you - get away from me you wicked people” : Matthew 7:21-23

@@billjohnson7706 I am positive; he had lot of time during his last 6 months while he was battling cancer. I would've done (in his shoes). @@davidralphs4 there has definitely been some to bring shame to the name of Christ but many more who have lived exemplary lives, holy and acceptable. It’s a tragedy when any man falls into any sin but sexual sins are the worst. The damage that is done is horrific.
Men are not perfect, Ravi was a great man regardless. Will we stop reading about David, he killed a man for his wife. Ravi had a problem, so do most of us.
David repented Ravi did not.
@@misterjones78 King David abused his authority..go bring that beautiful girl I wanted so badly. Even a man after God's heart committed sins . Ravi died and does not have a chance to defend .
@@kimyong7031 I would love to believe that Ravi could be compared to King David, but I can't. King David repented of his sins, Ravi did not.
"...because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of Yahweh to blaspheme..." 2 Samuel 12:14
This can happen in any church or denomination.
If the house was in the name of the ministry, and not personal family property, then RZIM had the right to withdraw that resource. I'm guessing their donations have gone down precipitously.
Muslims will say - this is the problem when you follow a man, instead of God himself.......
Really they should focus on their evil
To anyone who has a brain. Do not look at all these prosperous ministries, God is simply not there. God is Holy and will never be present in these places. His people are few around the world. Look towards Africa.

Enough of this round and round the tree ...Only GOD judge and only God knows the truth. Stop kicking a dead horse.
Mask muffle. Ridculous
They have FULLY apologized and moved well forward with ALL the mistakes that were made. Anyone can google the open letter that RZIM released
They apologized for Ravi's sins, but did they apologize for or investigate their own cover up ? Are there consequences for co-conspirators.

Why masks?
I experienced questionable pastors.
The reports change nothing concerning the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ.
The rise or ‘fall’ of anyone does not alter the Gospel.
“Jesus Christ the Same Yesterday to-day and For Ever.”
“I am the Lord I change not”
“Because he (God) hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.”

The mask wearing during this interview says much about the spiritual discernment within the ministry and by leadership. And I'm not just saying this past-PLANDEMIC. It takes courage and sensitivity to God's holy spirit to stand against tyranny. Their motto "Let my people think"
At last- someone with commonsense
Lol that’s quite a string of assumptions you make. Recording people like you think should have been going on is illegal. And victims are usually very concerned about being found and discovered. For their own protection they would not illegally recorded the events.
I don't believe him. Funny how it all comes out AFTER he dies. Why didn't you or anyone else quit if you believed this??? I call BS.
Before you call BS you need to read the 2017 lawsuit from Ravi against the first victim.

You need to read some articles on grooming. Sexual predators know how to choose and groom and their victims.
@love to learn. Victims can ALSO BE 40 years old. Age is irrelevant. Why you you believe it’s an issue anyway?
@@KarisParadiseVintage you understand the issues. Good comment.
Most victims believe not only that they deserve this treatment but also that they have done something to cause it. Not to mention the fact that they think no one would believe them. It is about the powerful vs. the powerless. You should count yourself blessed that abuse is so far outside your norm that you cannot possibly understand the way a victim of a sexual predator thinks and feels.
