I haven't unlocked it yet, so I cannot say for sure. But I would be surprised if it didn't work. The merge spells are the last unlocks, and they're extremely powerful. As long as you're accurate, the beam could probably pop the crystals.
i cant even beat this guy. Every time I try it the swords glitch out and he wont let me climb him, he'll just blaze me off of shrug me off. Also the climbing is buggy as fuck for me, 5ghz network and best settings. The game still needs a lot of optimisation.

it’s because the router isn’t close to ur pc most probably and don’t have an e thernet cable
