My little sister sent me this video to show me the kind of stuff her favorite streamers get up to. Not gonna lie, I teared up when the two kids started talking about running away. Hearing one child tell another not to give up on a crazed, dangerous adult that they used to depend on-that’s just gutwrenching. Every other older person watching this knows what I mean; there’s nothing worse than seeing children take up responsibilities that they should never even have been involved with. Lil sis has assured me that this is pretty dramatized, and considering how much mad cackling I hear from her bedroom, I’m assuming this is much more dramatic that the actual events (it’s Minecraft!). It’s still very impressive, though, that even in such a simplistic medium, theater like this can still take shape.

I see him more as the god of dream smp, he created it. So when someone needs desperate help like Wilbur, he goes to dream because he knows dreams can help him. So in conclusion I think dream is there when people become desperate or go to his help, but that’s just my opinion.

i know it probably doesnt go that deep but I just realized something. Whenever wilbur is talking to tommy, he has his hands on his shoulders, arms, or face most of the time. I think it kinda shows that even though wilbur seems to be the villain now, its like he's reaching out and needing some kind of closer still. it was probably unintentional but I just thought it was cool to point that out
He really walks this fine line between intimidating/menacing and being a straight-up call for help. You know he's dangerous, but you still want to be there for him somehow.
I love the end, with Tommy saying "Remember- don't give up on him." Tommy genuinely wants to save Wilbur from himself even after his misdeeds towards Tommy as his, at this rate, psychopathy has taken over him. He doesn't want to just take down the target like Schlatt did with Wilbur- he wants to get Wilbur back to his feet
Wilbur got a little bit of grip again, he hesitated, but Techos 'betrayal' only strengthen his paranoia I think. In the end it won't help much, he'll blow it up...
Honestly, Willbur has just proven, that J'Schlatt was right to banish him. I mean, people don't really give him enough credit, Schlatt IS the smartest person on the server. The moment Techno joined the server, he instantly came up with a plan to destroy any trust between him and the other rebels. The moment he became the president, he knew exactly who needs to be banished to secure his rule. The moment he was killed by Technoblade together with Tubbo and Quackity, and Tommy jumped in, he knew exactly what was the best course of action: "Everybody go after Tommyinnit!" Unless Manberg gets blown up, or Dream bans him from the server, Schlatt IS going to win.

The way you animated and added the music made this so intense. I could feel Tommy's fear and hear it tremble in his voice, especially after 1:11, where Wilbur exploits and manipulates Tommy's emotions so effectively. I can feel Wilbur's desperation. Nothing unsettles me more than the way Wilbur ruffles Tommy's hair at 1:44. It's all done so well. I could point out the symbolism, colors, all that, but I don't even know where to start. This is so good. I honestly think this animatic captured the intensity and horror of Wilbur's turn better than any others. You made me notice things about Tommy's reactions, too, which the visuals helped. You showed the blatant emotional manipulation. All the stuff with Dream and Tubbo, Wilbur being in control of the situation, Tommy's internal confluct, it's all so good. I can't give enough praise.

i think dream's actually become the real villain. he's playing god -- giving tommy the supplies to kill anyone who opposes him, giving wilbur tnt to blow up his own server . . . he's the omnipotent power here, the king above all. his motives seem mercenary more than anything -- _how can _*_i_*_ benefit? who's side shows the most promise? which side is so broken it will surrender everything in allegiance to me?_ this becomes apparent when wilbur swears to be his vassal, and when dream denies tommy's attempt at stopping wilbur before he does something reckless. he's also trying to manipulate technoblade, the anarchist, further proving that, in actuality, he has no side.

i know it probably doesnt go that deep but I just realized something. Whenever wilbur is talking to tommy, he has his hands on his shoulders, arms, or face most of the time. I think it kinda shows that even though wilbur seems to be the villain now, its like he's reaching out and needing some kind of closer still.

He really walks this fine line between intimidating/menacing and being a straight-up call for help. You know he's dangerous, but you still want to be there for him somehow.
I love the end, with Tommy saying "Remember- don't give up on him." Tommy genuinely wants to save Wilbur from himself even after his misdeeds towards Tommy as his, at this rate, psychopathy has taken over him. He doesn't want to just take down the target like Schlatt did with Wilbur- he wants to get Wilbur back to his feet

I mean, people don't really give him enough credit, Schlatt IS the smartest person on the server. The moment Techno joined the server, he instantly came up with a plan to destroy any trust between him and the other rebels. The moment he became the president, he knew exactly who needs to be banished to secure his rule.
The moment he was killed by Technoblade together with Tubbo and Quackity, and Tommy jumped in, he knew exactly what was the best course of action: "Everybody go after Tommyinnit!"
Unless Manberg gets blown up, or Dream bans him from the server, Schlatt IS going to win.

The way you animated and added the music made this so intense. I could feel Tommy's fear and hear it tremble in his voice, especially after 1:11, where Wilbur exploits and manipulates Tommy's emotions so effectively. I can feel Wilbur's desperation. Nothing unsettles me more than the way Wilbur ruffles Tommy's hair at 1:44. It's all done so well. I could point out the symbolism, colors, all that, but I don't even know where to start. This is so good. I honestly think this animatic captured the intensity and horror of Wilbur's turn better than any others. You made me notice things about Tommy's reactions, too, which the visuals helped. You showed the blatant emotional manipulation. All the stuff with Dream and Tubbo, Wilbur being in control of the situation, Tommy's internal confluct, it's all so good. I can't give enough praise.
Dream is basically the GOD of the server, literally he's OPed but story wise, he could be a god playing a human, like Chuck in Supernatural

I love how you drew all the characters, and the storyline of everything. The way you expressed moods with colours and rough shadows was phenomenal, too.
