Condolences to all the families of their loved ones that died.. I hate how after this tragedy, so many people, clubs , etc.kept on celebrating.. Take a selfie, keep drinking, cause to them, all that matters is them..Yes, some of them did not realise what had just happened.. But with so many sires and ambulances, you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to realise some major tragedy had occurred.
What's needed is better crowd control measures. Unfortunately they simply had NO PLAN in effect to help with crowd control for this event. I think what probably contributed to the high death toll was the fact that last year was the first since the covid pandemic that restrictions were eased and that led to far more people in general showing up to attend the event than in recent years. Hopefully if the event takes place this year officials will have learned from the tragedy of last year's events and institute better advanced planning including better crowd control measures.
