I think you've explained it in a very cool way. The fact is, the most effective way to do it is to pay gateway. It's best to choose one that fits your business model perfectly. For example, Stripe, Xsolla and G2A PAY are popular.

you could do it yourself ,you would get bank statement with customer account plus customer account(your website) and amount,recieve as a email you can modify email with text editor sublime text,sublime text will let change multiple thing at once,so you want to add amount to your database,so code insert amount to customer no.,and run code,so its a vertual account,clear as mud
