Great video , i just purchased vnl 760 i shift, my very first automated truck, i see TCS light on , can you explain if that halping on the snow, and anything else for winter driving, thanks
TCS is the traction control. it activates when wheels are spinning and disconnects the clutch . but sometimes you might want them to spin so you press that button and it will let the wheels spin and burn the rubber, but it might help you get out of something.
As I've said in the video everybody has to be realistic when assessing their skill level, or otherwise they end up on the side of the road.., I would never drive in a manner that would make me feel unsafe.
@@THEBigRedTruckPOV Yes everybody has to be realistic. The realistic thing is to slow down and be safe. A lot of accidents happen even when the drivers "feel safe", otherwise there would be far less car crashes in the world.
I was there hauling cars that day. What a blizzard
yes, it was a lot of fun :)
The VNL is really common there. Quite a few you overtook. Here in South Africa, we only have the FH, FM and the FMX. Be safe out there.
Ys those are purely American, thee F series are for Europe

how is the truck reliability so far? hows the automatic comepared to manual?
Reliability has been good so far, the volvo iShift is pretty good, I thinkl I will make a video about my experience with the truck for 3 years.
Stupid move really driving at those speeds on icy roads. The drivers you passed with flashers on at slower speeds were being safe!!!

башбар сильно на расход топлива сказывается?
Не замечал никакой разницы. если и влияет то очень мало.
Do you use those everblade heated wipers?
No, I never came around that, but I think is a gimmick
