The blazers the most beautiful gun I've seen in the single barrel rifle. The full length wood sets off any rifle in my eyes. The double and combo rifles embellishments are way above these but costs are too. I own an very old rifle bolt action 243 with full length stock and butter bolt. To me she's the best rifle I own , not the most expensive by far but ,, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder,,
Great video of some beautiful rifles! I don't own any Kipplaufs, but the falling block Farquharson-style rifles have a similar appeal. They are fantastic stalking rifles.
I have a Remington Spartan (baikal) in 243. Cost me £200 New. Off bags it does 1 1/2 inches at 100 yards a meopta 7x scope. That is a working man's gun. It's taken a few deer and I love it. I'd love a classy, expensive one. If I win the lottery
My thought exactly. And the Baikal IZH 18 (I assume the Remington also) can switch between a rifle and a shotgun barrel in a matter of seconds, which I think makes it a quite interesting weapon.
Talking about going back to basics Henry her in the US is also now making single shot rifles. Some have sold out really quickly. Tip open design but without(for now) any embellishment and for now wanting in some popular cartridges. For about $320 US with iron sights I think it's a steal. Nice rifle tho
Hi, I'm from germany and I use a Blaser K77 since 5 years. Every year I shot around 40-50 roe, red, fellow and wildboars with it - it is just a wonderful rifle! Ps: To the guys who think you can only take single shots, I cant count how many times I killed 2,3,4 deers in a row...
Indeed some gorgeous rifles truly a gentleman’s rifles. I can see perhaps a single shot ain’t back hunting stag in the UK 🇬🇧 but here in Canada 🇨🇦 id be scared to have only 1 shot specially in grizzly country. Would like to know though how can I get one of these rifles in Canada 🇨🇦
Not a fan of that German hogback stock on the last 2. Three trigger settings? The overdesigned break action? More moving parts = more chances for malfunction & break
TheOzTurkish On Blaser page there is a confugurator where you can build the rifle or shotgun as you want it yourself. Or a expensive Lego puzzle you can also say .
Handirifles are $200 in the US, hopefully not much more expensive to get them in Europe. Not as pretty, but for a real entry level break action they can't be beat.
@@flyboymike111357 The European have access to Baikal kipplauf if they want, probably the best cheap gun in the world because they are accurate even at 600m. People buy expensive guns because of its artistic value as investment. Also because of their gun law they choose to buy the best instead the cheapest.
@@flyboymike111357 Also the action closer to falling block. you cant get falling block at $200, Ruger already out and the cheapest Japanese/Italian falling block is around $1500.
Enjoyed your presentation. In fact I enjoy anything about a new single shot or combination gun on you tube. I do think there is a little misconception when it comes to single shot rifles however....About the "Ethics" Yes you do have to wait for that "Perfect Shot" but you really do so with a bolt action as well. At least when I hunt with a bolt action this is my take. A repeater does have the advantage in many situations...Such as when there are more than one small game animal present. With a single shot you bag one, with a bolt action you may bag 2....or 3! My favorite hunting arms are single shots and combinations...However I do hunt with bolt and lever action firearms on fair occasion. I do not hunt with any semi-autos....Why?? Nothing to do with ethics..They simply take longer to clean after use.
looks amazing but why would i pay more to get less? come on, these dont even have ejectors and cost 2K+ ! there are already super light bolt actions that shoot sub moa and have great trigger and some cost less than even the haenel rifle
Or you could just get a Ruger number one..... Fraction of the price... Falling block so it's significantly stronger... Just so you know. And you can find one chambered in anything. Why you ask? Because they've been made continuously since the 1960s, technically I think they ceased production during covid but so did everyone. And they're making them today, and if you read this 5 years from now, they're making them then. Not to mention they're frequent project gun, people get them and rechamber them. So yes you can get them in anything
Joey Murphy entry level for this standard of rifle , much higher than what most people can afford, but if this is your passion people spend a lot more on golf clubs or a car so I can’t knock anyone for having one
Well, I know that shotguns aren’t exactly the same but my browning citori cxt is considered to be a very base model competition shotgun and it cost us $2400. Probably would have been better to get a blazer f16 though as they are only about $1000 or so more expensive and they apparently blow the base Browning’s out of the water. I’m moving over to international trap from American trap and will be getting a better gun that is better suited to the discipline. The international trap guns will set you back at probably a minimum of $7000 but can quite easily move up to $20,000, though, around that the price and above will generally just go up based on more intricate engravings and gold inlays and better wood. These are all break actions so minus the rifling and lack of forcing cones and choke tubes, you are looking at something very similar. $2000 seems about right for this kind gun.
In America we call these Handirifles. They're very cheap, like $200 for the simplest versions which are manually cocked and can have their barrel exchanged for any caliber you can think of. The experienced hunter in North America will most likely use a falling block of some sort.
Working men make a lot less money in America apparently... lol. Can’t wait to get my hands on a blaser or merkel but I’ll enjoy my browning made 1885s and Ruger no 1s for now haha.
Ya, it's like they look for a way to make things more expensive in the UK. Plus they are a snobby as fuck culture. If the US didn't save their snobby asses they'd all be under Nazi rule right now.
This is a lovely presentation of a series of lovely rifles. Very well done!
I own a Blaser k95 and a k77 . The k77 is in 6,5x65r and the k95 is in 7x57r ! Love both of them !

beautiful guns!
my heart stopped for a minute when he threw that zeiss scope away :O
It's a Zeiss. It can take that.
Never thought I would ever see Tim fire a rifle with a WOODEN stock and Sights! So all is not completely lost!
you guys need to check the Merkel K4 Suhl. prettiest rifle i have ever seen.

best with a rimmed cartridge in it, 7x57r, 7x65r, 8x57irs . this prevent sticking to the chamber, better extraction and gas pressure.
How couod i forget one of the finest cartridges, the .303 British, if RUAG had chmbered that, it would have sold quite a few .
those are beautiful rifles.
little fun fact: Merkel and Haenel rifles are made in the same factory, on the friedberg in Suhl Germany

A wooden log behind you at 7:50 looks like a giant boar you just hunted lol
Great video!
I have a 20+ year old Hungarian Schmidt and Bender scope with fixed 6x zoom that would be perfect on one of those.
srspower god dam it now you have to buy one..
I shoot the Blaser K95 - you simply fall in love with it (her)
Why didn't you buy something cheaper? You could have invested the rest of your money in Tesla and retired instead of owning that one rifle.
