Sir, I'm from Tripura, now living in New Delhi. Last week, I hv been challaned by Delhi Traffic Police, I was riding my Uncle's Enfield whose silencer was a modified silencer.
Then the traffic police handed me two challans of Rs 2000 each, one at my uncle's mobile no. & another at my mobile no.
My queries is that is it really worthy of being handed two challans?
Should I pay the challan on vcourt or should I contest that why should I handed two challans?

I was standing near trafic police chawki at one circle and waiting for someone to reach, my bike was facing to one way board, which was at least 50m far from where I was standing. Even if I didn't cross the one way board, still officer issued Echallan, even after lots of explanation to him. I don't want to pay Echallan, as it was issued only to collect money from middle class person!

Nahi Police Arrest nahi karti hai. Bas zada delay karne par Challan Court me chala Jata hai. Then aapko Challan virtual court ya Offline Court me Jaa kar pay karna padta hai.

E-Challan me koi extra Panalty add nahi hoti hai. Jitna Hai utna hi rehta. Haan agar in case Challan court me jata hai Aur aap Bohot delay karte ho pay karne me. Then uss case me Panalty Ya Extra Fine aapke E challan me add ho jata hai.
