- Little blast in a local spot with some big climbs for a little bike, is super sandy and dusty but great fun, Gopro always makes it look less steep!
10/10" wheel crf50 size pit bike
qsmotor 2000w 120 70h motor
votol em100s controller
18s 20ah lipo pack
did u weld the battery holdes or use the original one from the frame?
What is that custom looking throttle you used can you buy it or was it 3D printed? I’ll confused because it’s able to take the throttle wire which is awesome
That thing is so sick haha. I would love to try and build this. Do you have a write up? If you could improve anything what would you do?
Thanks! You should definitely give it a go it's a great laugh! I don't have a write up but do have another video with some build photos in it. Honestly I'm very happy with how it turned out, the only shortfall really is the slower speed settings on the controller aren't very responsive but I guess that's the sacrifice of a cheap controller, the newer models may have this issue fixed now anyway
@@VOLITANT Well I just bought a donor pit bike and the same motor, controller setup. The batteries are out of stock literally everywhere, so I joined endless sphere to see if those guys can help me out. I live over here in the states so getting parts seems to be a pain so far
how thick would you say to make the engine mount? 4mm 5mm thick be ok ?
atleast 5mm should be good
I absolutely love this build, roughly how much did the motor batteries and controller cost
Thanks! The motor and controller are on aliexpress together for £270 I think I payed a little less when they were on sale last year, the lipo pack came to just under 400 and again was also bought on sale from hobbyking
@@VOLITANT link to motor and controller?
ive orderd same motor controller im building pitbike the next size up from yours 140/160cc frame big wheel! going to run 72v 4000w 40ah battery 100a bms with output of 210amp. think thos would work well? i think it would be rufley 7kw
That should work great! With the larger wheel you may need to find a larger rear sprocket if you want to lower the top speed however, I have been wanting to try 12/14" myself but my current sprockets 13/41t and only 67v (18s) still does 50mph
@@VOLITANT yeah ok thanks for info im going to build kx80 i think now better frame n stuff. same weight as pitbike! im going to run qs138 motor 4kw as think ot will pull abit harder still going to run 72v 40ah battery. i want a wheelie machine😂 that will beat a sur ron😂
@@petermartin448 a kx65 or kx80 would be a far better chassis, even my bike leaves a Sur Ron for dead so I'm sure yours will!
@@VOLITANT hopefully will see in the summer! thanks for help mate yours is crackin little tool tho ent it proper rips the dirt up there sum good builds on silent enduro hes very helpfull to.
@@petermartin448 post some videos! I'd love to see it! Yeah silent enduro has has awesome builds, cheers bud!
how long you can go until battery is gone?
Depends on many factors of course but on average with how I ride, I get around 10-15 miles range, my battery pack is also on the smaller side of things however
