I had no Idea about surge history I just thought of it as a good drink to get at my local burger king though I did think it was weird I could only find it on the new coke machines
I love SURGE! It is really tasty! I was happy to see SURGE make a comeback, in 16 oz cans at 7-11s and other convenience stores. But the sheer variety of opportunities that Mountain Dew puts out - many of which are VERY unique and flavorful - has likely cemented it as the All-Timer of citrus sodas.
Everyone I knew back in the 90's, including myself was drinking it. It tasted better than Mountain Dew and had a kick to it. The kid's jumping over the couches in the ally brings back a lot of memories. If the sugar and the caffeine is a problem, then modify it. There is still a market for it.
I’m going to get into history of cocktails as well. Just so many things I want to cover and I’m still new to all this so it takes me a long time to make a video while juggling a full time job. Im hoping around the start of the year i can start increasing my volume and you’ll start seeing cocktail history stuff. Thanks for asking!

I found surge in a gas station nine months ago. Got a can and my wife and i prepped for a nostalgia trip.... Jesus christ that soda was disgusting. How did we like it back in the 90s?

Sprite was Coke's answer to 7Up, not Surge. Surge was more of a Mountain Dew flavored Jolt.
