You’re making your cleaning process hard for yourself! Giving your CPK a soak in some stain remover followed by being put in the washing machine on a delicate cycle in a pillow case with other items in the wash (like towels.) for padding means you don’t have to do all the hard scrubbing work on the body. You can also use a warm water wash for the hair like you did with your conditioner and that’s when you brush with a wide tooth comb meaning you don’t need to do the first frizz making brush. I’ve also found when scrubbing with a scrubbing brush or scourer it can make pulls/fluff in the body of the doll and scratches on the face. Your end product is great you’ve just made the process harder for yourself.
It’s ok it’s all fun :’) thanks for your comment Yes I know about the washing machine and pillow case method however, I wasn’t sure if it would work on them because they have brushable hair and I didn’t know if it would have worked I thought maybe it could make the hair frazzled and I didn’t want to risk it because it’s better safe than sorry 😅 thank you so much! for letting me know that it is safe to put them in the washing machine if they have brushable hair! I do have a build a bear My little pony that’s in a terrible state so I could try this method on them haha Thank you! Hope you have a lovely day! 😄
Marzipan Studios thank you very much! I did end up calling the vintage kid ‘Andy Skipper’ cause it just came to me 😂 but I can ensure you that their favourite book will be Winnie The Pooh 😂 yasss Dimples is on point :’)
💀💀💀 I’m sadly the person who puts off my dishes to clean up dolls for my kids. Hopefully they appreciate it even tho the home can get cluttered between projects.
You worked so hard on them! They came out lovely! I just throw mine in a pillow case and put them in the washing machine! lol If they have the brush-able hair...I use detangle spray on the hair, them tie it up and put them in a pillow case and in the washing machine :)
Polar Bear yeah I was worried about the hair with the washing machine so I didn’t do it :’) how ever I am going to test out the washing machine and pillow case thing in the future 😅 I recently got a doodle bear and the tag on it says put in a pillow case then put it in the washing machine 😂
@@wondercreates Aw bless you! Yes I was terrified of putting my cabbages in the washing machine too when I first started collecting pre-owned ones! Even ones with wool hair I was scared they'd get ruined! But they actually come out fab! As I said the brush-able ''corn silk'' hair just needs de-tangling with a spray before hand then tied back in a tight pony with a few soft material hair ties going down the tail (if that makes sense? lol) so the hair stays together to prevent it getting knotted up in the spin cycle. They do come out gorgeous! And if they have stains just spray Vanish on them before bunging them in the machine. I also put them in with a load of my own clothes so they don't bang about in the washing machine! lol Good luck on your doodle bear project! I'm sure it will come out lovely :D xox
Polar Bear Thank you very much I will do a video on my doodle bear eventually one day XD I currently am working on my build a bear wash up video still 😅can’t wait to get it done :’) thank you so much for your support on my channel 🙂 I appreciate it and I am really thankful 😊 hope you have a splendid day! 🙂
Usually what I do for sun damage is I usually put things in the dark for a longgg time. I have had some toys that have had sun damage and I just store them away under my bed and then randomly one a day if i ever decide to get them out of storage again XD I see that their plastic is back to normal. However, I think it depends on the plastic if the toy etc
@@wondercreates I'm sorry, I think I got a video I saw confused w your channel. Anyway, I do love your humor, expertise & creativity. Will continue watching. God bless!!
@@marti2757 thank you so much! Maybe one day I can try and figure out how to dye doll hair I personally never tried it so I don’t know what works or doesn’t etc.
Yes indeed, they are strange little creatures. I am most certainly aware of some cabbage patch kids eats peoples hair. If any of mine start chewing on my hair it’s going flying out that window! 😆

Ese hidratante Nivea, es para el rostro o especial para cabello?
It’s for skin nothing special just cheap moisturising for skin. Any moisturiser will work fine.
They turned out nice

Hi there, Steph. Would you know how to remove sun discoloration from the doll's face? It's been many years like that but don't know what to use.
