Eonymia Yeah, they should’ve gone with the T-44 which has a better BR for its armor and a gun that does alright while also being faster. The penetration isn’t perfect but the APCR has a lot of pen and the APCBC does as well for the 85.
@@Eonymia I've mastered the Shermans, particularly the Easy 8. They are amazing tanks if you know how to use them right. Easy 8 always hits 42kph top speed, good armour if you angle, great gun if you can aim, the stabilizer of course, and the M62 APCBC is amazing.

@@maley335 thats where the smoke shells comes in handy. Can't pen a camping german kv-1? Smoke him and move away or switch APCR. The M4A2 is the most versatile tank at its BR.
My favourite medium tanks: Pz. IVs (all except J and the premium one) Panther A Leopard A1A1 AMX M4 M4 SA50 (and FL-11) Chi-Nu (II) no russian tanks for the same reason they have no depression.

@@harriermk2 Yeah they are fun, but they get expensive, a few months ago 5 of the 10 most expensive tanks were french. And we are into a vicious circle. Only good players can afford them, so the tank has better stats and Gaijin raises its price again. I don't remember when or if they ever decreased its repair costs.
I really like the 75mm Shermans, mostly because of the gun, but also the armor is good enough (esp. on the ones at br 3.3/3.7, the chinese M4A4 beeing my favorite).
The M4 Sherman 76 at 5.3 br is my favorite medium tank. Sure I’m dead in my tracks but knowing some weaknesses of the enemies makes me a good shoot on the battlefield
My list would be: M4a3 (76)- jack of all trades Panther II- powerful gun with good mobility M26a1- literally a better M26 at the same br AMX-50- cheaper and better armored alternative to the Lorraine 40t Centurion mk.1- 5.7 with access to APDS, ok armor T-54 (1947)- best armor of the T-54 line Type 59- basically a T-54 (1951) with a gun stabalizer Chi-to late- good gun, armor that can bounce stuff sometimes
M4A5 Ram II -Good gun -Great Frontal armor -Decent side armor -Good mobility - 3x .30 caliber machine guns for AA or killing SPAA -5 crew -Great crew layout ( very survivable ) - Can kill most things from the front. ( not T-34 ) -Bounces German 75mm guns reliably -Smaller Size -Canadian produced so it dispenses maple syrup and bacon for all. ( Big morale booster ) -Good counter part with the Sherman On a side note, Canadian tech tree we have china so it's not impossible right? Could have the Skink as a mid tier AA the ram could be moved there make it a special division or something. Then add tech tree variants of it ( 40mm and 57mm ) Could have the Grizzly and other Sherman variants. The sexton could be a interesting AT vehicle, along with the QF 3.7 being moved there. British supplied tanks for low tier reserves and mid tier. More Modern tiers could have leopards in them. Air tree would be interesting as well mix of US and British planes would be a dream. Canada could also have a large Naval tree. Suffer in helicopters a bit though. Let me know what you guys think. My favourite has to be the Sherman VC Firefly. Although it has a high profile, no APHE or APDS and its speed is something to frown at, the 17 pounder gun can slice through almost anything from my experience. Plus, when angled properly it can also bounce certain shots with ease. It’s definitely my favourite tank to play in the British tech tree.
The panther, the m-26, the centurion and the t-44-100 are what i call medium+ tanks, meaning that they are heavier than most medium but aren't labeled heavy because the tiger and the is-2 raised the bar for being considered heavy.
best tonk is m4 Sherman tonk i love all variants in the American tech tree t34 no critical flaws you seem to have forgotten the huge turret ring which is a one shot kill
Cromwell 1 is my favourite medium. Speedy and relatively lucky too with a fast firing and precise gun with stabiliser. It is great for brawling and playing the objective, and can even survive uptiers with very good outcomes, if you know how to aim for weak spots that is...
Top 3 best mediums 3. The T-34-85 because of it's amazing mobility making it easy to go around enemies and to get the better positions before anyone else. 2. The T-34-85 because of it's great gun being able to kill everything at it's battle rating. Combine that with high mobility and you can exploit all enemy weakpoints. Not to mention the high explosive power of the shell making sure for easy 1shot kills to land. 1. The T-34-85 because it's armor practically doesn't exist and theoretically everything at this BR can penetrate it, but still can and will bounce every shot from every tank in the game in the most unlikely of cases. The T-34-85 armor is the biggest psychological weapon in the game because not being able to penetrate a tank with 3 times less armor than you while it one shots you will destroy your will to live. It also makes the tank light. Honorable mentions: The T-34-85, because of it's historical significance.
Last year i really liked to play the Cromwell V and im sure it had 1100hp (with upgrades) and thats why it was that mobile while having quite good armor if you angle but now it has 600hp but still "playable" with 57km/h and really quick hull rotation speed.
If there's a best heavy tank video the IS-4 HEAVILY deserves to be in it sence the maus has been removed technically the IS-4 is now the heaviest armored tank in the game

I know it's an MBT but in game it's a Medium Tank The Centurion Mk 3 takes the cake for me Precise high pen 20 pounder gun Fast Near indestructible Turret armour (Hull down hero) It's only short coming is its Hull isn't massively well protected but I can certainly live with that what a machine
STRV 81 is such a glorious medium tank. The shells pen everything, you get smokes, stabilizer at 6.7, ATGMS as quick followup damage and can be used to kill even when your breach is out. The tank is also crazy survivable. The only drawback is you will mostly be going 30-40kph and the tank is long so engine shots get ya. Overall one of the best tanks at its tier.

My favorite medium tank is the French tank at Rank IV. Unfortunately, the French tank in Rank IV repair is very expensive compared to French aircraft in all ranks, so I can't enjoy it anymore about the medium tank
List shouldve focused on wartime tanks and not postwar, coz thats where the medium class really shines where there arent too many heavies around. A Sherman 76 and Panzer 4 F2 needed to be on this list but why isnt it here, Gaijin?
Personally I favour the Centurion Mk.III, not the FV4201. Both share the same gun and gun depression, but the turret armor of the Centurion is much more reliable than that of the FV4201. Also the hull can take some punishment now and then, the FV4201 can't.
The British Cromwell is my favourite of the British and US the Sherman and USSR T-34 and Germany the panzer V and the tiger 1 because just think about it in uptiers and above it feels like a medium because of it's armor.
M4 sherman thats it....it can do everything just a bit rather then one thing exceptionally and for me the choices it gives provides a lot of battlefield control...for instance the depression for t 34 is abyssmal so i have to expose my tank a lot more then needed....pnz 4 f2 is just slow ....turret rotation is below average so if i am m4 thr u go charge its sides and it is gone.

I would like it as well. Sometimes i have to play 3 maches with a Hurricane mk2 (my fav low tier, 2nd all fav plane, and fav on britt tree) to play one with the american T34, becouse all the time the shoot my side from the other end of the map, or just becouse the reload. It has 15 secs on me now. A tiger 2 can shoot 2.5 times

Pz. 4 F2 This thing one shots pretty much everything, it is quick, pretty bad armour, but it is low BR so people dont really know how to play and it is just so dirty with its penetration capabilities.

I don't like any medium tank. Might aswell go full light tank with high pen and speed or tankdestroyer, for frontal protection and gun. Most heavy tanks a somewhat boring too. These days there is too much of anything that can deal with armor at any BR, so... really only speed, a good gun and being small counts.

t34-85 is a beast but people often use wrong shells for it. Br365a shell has a LOT of angled penetration and a LOT of TNT
It's perfect when I need to uptier myself to 8.0 in it to use the LA15

The T-34-85 because it's armor practically doesn't exist and theoretically everything at this BR can penetrate it, but still can and will bounce every shot from every tank in the game in the most unlikely of cases. The T-34-85 armor is the biggest psychological weapon in the game because not being able to penetrate a tank with 3 times less armor than you while it one shots you will destroy your will to live. It also makes the tank light.

Last year i really liked to play the Cromwell V and im sure it had 1100hp (with upgrades) and thats why it was that mobile while having quite good armor if you angle but now it has 600hp but still "playable" with 57km/h and really quick hull rotation speed.
If there's a best heavy tank video the IS-4 HEAVILY deserves to be in it sence the maus has been removed technically the IS-4 is now the heaviest armored tank in the game
Maybe I'm crazy but I love the A34 Comet I and the Mk VIII A27 Cromwell I. They both punch above their weight, but just never try to go backwards!

STRV 81 is such a glorious medium tank. The shells pen everything, you get smokes, stabilizer at 6.7, ATGMS as quick followup damage and can be used to kill even when your breach is out. The tank is also crazy survivable. The only drawback is you will mostly be going 30-40kph and the tank is long so engine shots get ya. Overall one of the best tanks at its tier.

My favorite medium tank is the French tank at Rank IV. Unfortunately, the French tank in Rank IV repair is very expensive compared to French aircraft in all ranks, so I can't enjoy it anymore about the medium tank

You can use shoot and cover easily with Panther... But you have to reverse to have a shot and drive forward to cover :)

List shouldve focused on wartime tanks and not postwar, coz thats where the medium class really shines where there arent too many heavies around. A Sherman 76 and Panzer 4 F2 needed to be on this list but why isnt it here, Gaijin?
Personally I favour the Centurion Mk.III, not the FV4201. Both share the same gun and gun depression, but the turret armor of the Centurion is much more reliable than that of the FV4201. Also the hull can take some punishment now and then, the FV4201 can't.

The British Cromwell is my favourite of the British and US the Sherman and USSR T-34 and Germany the panzer V and the tiger 1 because just think about it in uptiers and above it feels like a medium because of it's armor.

M4 sherman thats it....it can do everything just a bit rather then one thing exceptionally and for me the choices it gives provides a lot of battlefield control...for instance the depression for t 34 is abyssmal so i have to expose my tank a lot more then needed....pnz 4 f2 is just slow ....turret rotation is below average so if i am m4 thr u go charge its sides and it is gone.
Cromwell is just everything you mentioned but better apart from a stabaliser

I would like it as well. Sometimes i have to play 3 maches with a Hurricane mk2 (my fav low tier, 2nd all fav plane, and fav on britt tree) to play one with the american T34, becouse all the time the shoot my side from the other end of the map, or just becouse the reload. It has 15 secs on me now. A tiger 2 can shoot 2.5 times

Pz. 4 F2 This thing one shots pretty much everything, it is quick, pretty bad armour, but it is low BR so people dont really know how to play and it is just so dirty with its penetration capabilities.

Honestly, I would have put the Chi-To or Chi-To late instead of the Chi-Nu (II). Those two have more relaible armor and the same punchy ol' 75mm.

It is interest that I have worst results with T-44-100 from all T-tanks. Personally I think that best medium tank forever is T-34E STZ.
Can't go wrong with the M4A2, it can take a beating and keep on going. Downside is the gun is a little weak.
I don't like any medium tank. Might aswell go full light tank with high pen and speed or tankdestroyer, for frontal protection and gun. Most heavy tanks a somewhat boring too. These days there is too much of anything that can deal with armor at any BR, so... really only speed, a good gun and being small counts.

Hell the m22 took 6, 75mm's, broadside, point-blank for the Sherman to kill it. But I'm on a console, so there is the console bias.
T35-85 is just OP, only if it had a stabilizer it would be a beast
