Sad the apfsds got nerfed and it already has bad bullet deviation due to it being 152mm with a short barrel. The american version also has a worse reload speed. It couldve atleast kept its penetration values before

Mbt 70s 20 mm is a game changer over the u.s version
A slight correction. Only the driver had motion sickness because the movement from the hull into the turret. The driver had an automatic rotating cupola that always faced the front of the vehicle. Due to the constant turning of the driver's station. The complaints of motion sickness arose.

It was said that you needed a technical masters degree to drive this, plus some tank experience according to Wikipedia (not super trustworthy)
What a nightmare for the driver lol. I would get sick after 2 minutes of that. I don't really understand the practicality of having the driver in the turret, either. Isn't it more sensible to have more seperation for different sections of the tank?

Great video, I really like the MBT 70 and KPZ 70.
I like the part where you said it can handle smaller sub caliber rounds and APHE. It cant handle anything. Mobility and firepower are fine and fun. Cant be looked at without dying.

I see Gaijin is still pretending that the MBT and Kpz-70 can’t survive on one crew.
Ikr, its BS since that was like a main feature of this tank. Having all the crew be able to drive and commander/gunner being able to shoot would make this thing so much better.
I only added the MBT-70 to my lineup relatively recently.
So far, I have had fun with it.

@@gabrielabreu5200 There are very few, and they’re pretty much only used when there’s a gap that needs to be filled. They’ve made strides to removed them when they can, so it’s unlikely we’ll get new ones.

As far as I know, the 120mm version was never made and was just what the Germans wanted to use. The US was insistent that they use the gun launcher so they could use the massive stockpile of missiles they had so eventually the Germans and Americans came to an agreement on the 152.

-The APDSFS has become a bad joke, the missile is not worth mentioning as it can only be used against light armor. You don't really impress a T 72 head-on.
-You mean armor? Yes, that's true against the ZSU 57-2 and the Obj 279 shown, but not against tanks like Leopard 1A5, 2S25, T72, PTZ 89, ZTZ...
-You forgot that the tank regularly plays against 10.3 tanks!
-The tank must be played on the flanks and as a support.
-In addition, there is the lack of a thermal device
Was a neat and decent vehicle, shame that yall decided to nerf what was already one of the weakest tanks of it's br. Now being borderline unplayable lmao.

I like to use this thing as a mortar type vehicle with the heat shell, it really makes me want to see the cv90 amos and vehicles like it, i think it would be more balanced than what ud think but only if there are no extra special rounds that obviously shouldn't be added to the game and i think it would be a more welcomed mechanic than spall liners as its new and it wouldn't be as broken hopefully, just super crazy.
Question: Could you guys list all the tanks that have pneumatic suspension system or equivalent that allows them to rais or lower their hull ?
To my knowledge the K2 Black Panther has a Hydro-Pneumatic suspension system. Not familiar with any other designes tho.
On the WT wiki website, there is a list on which equipment there is a hydropneumatic suspension.
The ones i know besides kpz-70 are the xm-8 (the premium one), the 2S6 Tunguska, the second 40mm AA in sweden, and the rocket truck in ussr tree.
the Japanese Type 74 as well as the TKX and Type 10 have hydropneumatic suspension. the German VT1-2 prototype also has it
I am a noob in the game but Kpz70 rocks, ao fast and reload tine is so short. I mastered all upgrades in a breeze.

i do love the xm 803 been a blast so far , i was planning on getting the MBT 70, but its just not worth it, the fact that its folded compared to the kPZ , its also a bit slower and has slower reloading. I dont understand the decision behind that , but i guess its just details

Learn to play then. City maps are skill less knife fights. That's the exact terrain MBT's are NOT meant to fight in

Its pretty OP on downtiers. 9.3. is very cool BR but quite hard at uptiers.

The MBT-70S APFSDS nerf was not needed Gaijin and it's not historically accurate as the ads says it is and nerfing the APFSDS on the MBT-70S, XM-803 and KPZ-70 to 285mm of pen making it worse than XM-1 (GM) and useless while Gaijin leaves the T64s and T-72s at the same BR with 440mm of pen is just stupid for an update

Not only did did the purulent snail screw the MBT-70, they apparently struggle with which tank it is. With a header stipulating "MBT-70: Tank from the Future", the corporate clown show's collection of toadying helpers proceed to fill 6:48 of a 9:05 video with the XM-803. Not a 20mm mount in sight, no missile transmitter. I like both vehicles as real life examples, with all their flaws. But this is just more clueless drivel from these poor people.

Tank has no pen, abrams has 370 pen at 10.3 LMAO, Soviets at 9.7 get better ammo and at 10.3, better armor, thanks for your “balance” gaijin. M60 can go down, xm803 and KPZ can go down and the m1 can go down

What are the chances of getting a German VTOL plane such as the VJ 101 or the VAK 191B? They may have only had two and three prototypes respectively but there have been planes added with less and they would give German player the VTOL experience without having to grind a tree they don't care about.
I hate using the MBT 70 because it's always up tiers and facing Leopard 2s, T 80s, T 72s, and ZTZ 96s and 99s is just painful

I'm new to the game and am about to hit rank 3 for aircrafts. Should I continue the grind for Japan or switch nations for aircraft?
Japan has excellent prop planes but their high tier is not great unless you just evolve to the change.

So when I encounter this thing, (I don’t have it) I just start laughing. I think it’s a leopard 1 or something but then see it’s an MBT-70 and realize how GOFY looking it is. Then I quickly send it to the nether with a DM23.

I know the war thunder team is never going to see this but I was wondering if you could add in the more modern blocks of the f14/f16 because the mig29 is still a late 80’s aircraft while the f16s are early 80s except for the one in the Japanese tech tree I believe. Another thing is if you see this is to respond and tell me if there are reasons for other tech trees getting better f16s (is it for balancing or something else). Finally I was wondering why you can’t add in the the early no flare/chaff version of the f15 at lower BR or the one with flares/chaff at a higher BR is it because how much munitions It could carry while keeping its speed because it is still a 1976 aircraft that has not been added while 1986 aircraft have. Thank you for listening to my rant and these are general questions not me trying to attack the team marking this wonderful game.
the thing is the Mig-29 is electronically most comparable to late 70s due to the soviets being behind in the electronics department so they are still about equal

Like in 07:08. In german he says that the auto canon ist good for barrels (Fass/Plural:Fässer).
In german we have a canon barrel (Kanonenrohr) and a beer barrel (Fass).
Those are two completeley seperate words
