In all reality I think we aren't going to get a real release of this song. Doesn't matter if I'm shipping or not, but we ALL know Taehyung really loves Jimin, they’re soulmates. I don't think he’s going to release an actual version if Jimin isn't singing it with him because that's what it was made for. Sure, Adora’s voice is beautiful and fits it, but Taehyung is a perfectionist and I don't think he would release music that would be sung with someone who wasn't supposed to sing it.

lol Taehyung I feel is never going to release this song (not unless he sings it with Jimin and perfects whatever he thinks needs work). He obviously really likes it because he played it twice, but he looks really sad each time. Like you said, it's likely because he isn't singing it with the person he originally planned. Seriously, seeing him now, it looks like this song brings him great pride but also great loss/pain.
He made this song 2017-2018 and its 2021 now. If he really wanted to, he would've finished and released it earlier. Maybe we'll hear it officially this year or in KTH1, who knows? But it would have to be the ver. he really wanted.

So does he still have no plans to finish or officially release it? I know he said originally he wanted jimin in this track but producer said it would be weird or something. Honestly, it sounds amazing with adora, her voice suites the song and tae’s voice perfectly...but if he wants to do it with jimin then why stop that? Bighit basically said it wasn’t an appropriate song to sing between men. Now, I don’t know exactly why they’d say that, but I’m assuming it’s more so because Bighit are afraid of their public image being hurt than they are homophobic. The producers want the best for the boys, and korea isn’t the most open society. Though, I wish taehyung would just record and release the version with Jimin without bighits permission.

I’m not out here to hate on anyone.. because I love Adora and her angelic voice... but I’m a bit disappointed in Bighit because of this. He put so much effort and emotion into the song to be sung with his soulmate, Park Jimin... but ended up not singing it with him because of the producer... which is quite upsetting. I’m not saying this just because I’m a Vmin shipper.. I’m saying this because it’s wrong... even if it were the other members. How would you feel if you worked so hard on something to do with someone else... but you can’t do it because someone says so.
