yes the placement of items are a challenge. did you try pressing Z when you place the curtain?

yes, it usually does the trick. try putting the wall first on a surface then attach the curtain before placing the wall above. like this th-cam.com/video/MPZQwmlcL90/w-d-xo.html i hope it helps :)
