You really have to watch the special offer since they may not be that special. there is places that could have the item for the same price. like the pot noodle is only on clubcard at 90p while asda just have it for 90p 24/7. So there is not so much a special offer.
What comes more on offer is what is over priced to start with, and that you can get many items cheaper with another name on them. And there the same quality and size.
Plus being forced in to buying 5 of an item means it may sit on home selves for a while before being used or even end up in the bin.
Thanks for commenting, yes not all offers are great but as always, I have to tell people, we only have Tesco and no other supermarket in this area so you get what you are given.
The pot noodles have gone on clubcard offers before for 70p
Sainsbury's is more expensive for example a lindt bunny is £3.75 but Tesco sells it for £3.50 (clubcard 3.00) Also this is London so prices can be more here
In regards to buying 5 of an item, it depends if it's something you use all the time or are prepping. I personally have like these offers, as right now Tesco has 4 for 3 on cleaning products so I bought 4 boxes of washing powder so in the future when I have bills to pay, I am not worried about having empty cupboards because I stocked piles essential items
90p for a Pot Noodle is not special it's criminal 🙃
Yeah I know it is, but Tesco have already started their next batch of price hikes in-store so 90p is cheap compared to what it will be by the end of the year
