Mistake in Functional interface part--
If interface is marked as @FunctionalInterface but it has 2 abstract methods, then code does show the warnings but it does not throw compile time error. Learned this while studying for Infosys Java SE8 internal certification.
Below code will run.

1. Learn technology(java, advance java) which is used in development in your project.
2. Mail your manager that you know certain technology and you would be useful in that team.
If they say no then,
Start applying in other companies with mentioning 6 months or 1 year of experience in development in your current project, but first understand your project /project flow as a developer's perspective.
