  • Adam presents another argument he had with Mike August over the weekend. Alonzo Bodden reveals he is all set to move to Vegas and he and Adam chat about credit. The guys talk about 21 Savage and his performance on SNL before Adam brings up the movie Poor Things and has more issues with inconsistent movie accents.
    Chris reports the news on Cam Newton getting into a fight, Wendy Williams’ health issues, Donald Trump releasing $400 sneakers, Shaq sending a 16-year-old kid new shoes, and Joe Biden’s dog biting his staff.
    Lastly, Dr. Phil joins the show to talk about the reason he decided to write his new book, We’ve Got Issues. He expresses the importance of solving problems vs. winning arguments and talks about some of America’s problems with universities. The two also chat about his recent appearance on The View.
    For more with Dr. Phil:
    His new book, “We’ve Got Issues: How You Can Stand Strong for America’s Soul and Sanity” is available now.
    For more with Alonzo Bodden:

    The closest thing I ever had to a "trigger warning" in college was a professor who went, "Ok, the writers we'll be reading were sexist, anti-Semitic, racist, and on and on, so we can get that out of the way now. Those are very easy things to point out, so we don't really need to waste time focusing on such obvious criticisms of writers of 100 years ago. So, for the rest of the course, we can focus on their writing." That was it, first few minutes of the semester, done and dusted.
    Of course, now, my professor's talk would probably be a microaggression, haha.

    Adam is such a clean freak about leaves under the hood. I wonder if he reacts the same way about a dirty bathtub?😄 The thing is I once owned a 67 VW van. I went to the gas station asked the attendant to check the oil and the water. Hugh, to my surprise he informs me that the car has no water. I go, "what?" what is he talking about. He replies, lady your van is air cooled. Imagine that, a car that is air cooled. I had never heard of such a thing. This was way back in the'80's. I owned the Idiots Guide to VWs, and I proudly held that title personally.

    Dr. Phil promoting his book ad nauseum shows you the integrity of his reasoning; and his dumbing down of restrictions on youth in the early days of COVID is coldly calculated to ignore the vulnerable: the whole point was to stop the spread in underprivileged communities (versus Dr. Phil's billionaire class) where kids bring the virus home to their parents and grandparents, in large minority families that also happen to lack the same access to quality healthcare that we take for granted. Don't know if they realize this, but America happens to be a generous country, and that makes us great. Doesn't take much time to unpack this, but charlatans like these always skip the details in lieu of inflammatory rhetoric.

    • @julieo4580
      @julieo4580 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lockdowns do not work and didn't have any benefits for kids. More kids were home with their abusers and nobody to report it. The impact NEVER outweighed the risks. In fact the playbook for pandemics specifically says isolate the vulnerable only. Not isolate every single person inside AND outside. Vitamin D is already low here because nobody is outside enough to get it naturally and it's proven effective with covid.

    I am NOT sure who is in the picture with the dog, but you can see that person was bitten on the arm by the dog.

      Yep. My dad is an abusive prick but he did make sure I knew how to do the basics with cars, home repairs etc. I didn't get to take driving test until I changed tire in the driveway. Lol. Oh and I had to memorize my social security number and drivers license number too. I'm still confused by that last one. 😂

      @@julieo4580always useful to know your DL number. Especially if you get stopped the one time you don’t have your license on you; if you can give the officer your number to verify they just may not cite you.

    You sniff it to smell if it's burning if it has a burnt smell and you run it through your fingers so that you can feel if there's any metal or grit in it. Come on man
